Of course. Prince charming here did it all himself. A ghost of a smirk began to play on her lips, as she looked over to him. “And let me guess, you’re on some noble quest?” She asked almost teasingly, before shaking out of it. For someone so seemingly friendly, it made her question why he couldn’t find whoever it was he was looking for. If he had been looking for her for quite some time, it must be important. “I don’t think I know what peace and quiet is, but thanks.” The day however, had been nice. It was one of the first days that Raksha was going to try and enjoy it. But now, with this eerily familiar stranger, she began to think that the day was going to take a turn. She had a tendency to want to run from anything that felt too gentle- too comfortable and sitting here with Galen was just that. Easy. “However, I would hate to interrupt this important quest that you’re on.”

He laughed at her comment. It had been a while since his brother Caspian had died, but he still struggled sometimes with the idea that he was the future king of the first house. He wanted to do what he could do to help his people, but Galen didn't feel like a noble prince, off on a quest to save a princess- although technically that was exactly what he was doing. "Something like that. Although when I talk about it, it sounds more like a stalker than a knight in shining armor." He joked, before looking at her surprised. Since he had become first in line, his life had become chaotic. There was a full blown war going on, and he had to find a missing witch to marry her and save their people. It all seemed to be straight out of a ridiculously stressful fairytale, but he'd still been able to find moments of peace and quiet. He found himself feeling that same sense of tranquility just sitting there with Keller, and although it was selfish and ridiculous, he didn't want her to go. "Please, by all means, interrupt me. I'm clearly not making much progress, and as long as I'm not troubling you, the company is always welcome."

Galen Drache. The name rang through her mind for a moment, but all she could gather from it was that he was from the royal family. Her mind began to wonder about what his form was, causing her to miss the last part of what he had said. “Keller.” She introduced herself, not bothering with a first name. That much, she’d like to keep to herself. It sounded too personal for her when people called her by her first name. “It comes as a surprise to me that you can’t just hire someone to find her for you. Clearly you’re a little worn out from looking.” She told him, possibly a little more forcefully than she originally intended it to. While she spoke, his name was still resonating throughout her brain. Wrapping the rest of her sandwich, she looked up at him. “I was just finishing up- you weren’t bothering me.”

He smiled. Even her name seed familiar. Everything about her seemed  like it was out of some half-remembered dream. "Pleasure to meet you Keller." It was a strange name, and despite everything he was certain that he hadn't heard it before. Surely he would have remembered meeting her. He shrugged, surprised at her comment. "It's sort of a personal matter.  Besides, I don't like hiring someone else to do my job." He chuckled, not taking offense. "I'm just a bit tired. I've been looking around for quite a while." Actually, he'd been searching non-stop for Iliana for months. Although the part of him that was hesitant to marry someone he didn't love was relieved that he hadn't found her yet. That part of him was much more pleased to simply be sitting here with a strange, beautiful girl he'd never met before. But he had to find Iliana, there was too much was at stake. He sighed. "I'm glad, it's a really nice day out, and I wouldn't want to interrupt your peace and quiet."

Ivory watched as he set everything up, making note in her mind of the way he did so. “We will struggle together but I think it’s the experience that matters far more,” she reassured him. “What are the rules of this game?”

"Sounds good." He said with a smile, offering her a cue stick. "We can start with a practice round. The basic objective is to get the balls into those holes on the side of the table. You can't hit any of the balls directly, only this white one. Like this." He demonstrated by taking a shot, sending the balls flying around the table. "Well, sort of like that, but you usually want the balls to go in the direction of the pockets."

Something about the strangers entire demeanor clouded her mind for a second with the strangest déjà vu, but she kept her stance cool and even as she watched him. “If I did know her, why would I tell you? I don’t know you.” She told him, her head cocking to the side. Even if she did know this girl, she had no idea who this man was. Raksha didn’t get involved in peoples problems that she didn’t know. The only problems she got into, were for her job. There wasn’t time for anyone else. Her fingers began to absent mindedly play with the black lily ring on her thumb. “Listen, man. I don’t know her. But if you can’t find her there’s probably a reason she doesn’t want to see you.”

He got a chance to really look at her for the first time, and there was something about her that immediately enchanted him, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it. On the other hand, she didn't seem to feel the same way. It made sense for her to question him, but it had been a long day, and explanations were just as long and complicated. He was just about to reply when he saw her hand go to her ring. He was immediately relieved when he recognized the symbol. Still, he doubted she would trust him just because he was also a shapeshiter, but she might recognize his family name. "I know it sounds strange. My name is Galen Drache, Iliana is a friend of my family's. I was just hoping to talk to her." He leaned back against the bench with a sigh, disappointed and slightly relieved at the same time. "My apologies, I didn't mean to bother you."

It was a rare occasion that Raksha actually ate lunch in public. But as she sat on a park bench, casually taking bites from a sub her eyes scanned the people around her cautiously. The girl watched people so often that half the time, she didn’t even notice that she was taking inventory of what every single person near her was doing. Maybe it was out of instinct, to constantly be alert. Whatever it was, it helped keep her sane. To feel like she was actually doing something productive, so while she wasn’t training, people watching in the park it was. It wasn’t until she saw a blonde haired boy approaching her, did she pretend that she was engulfed in her meal.

Galen had originally intend to go out on a walk to clear his head, but he found himself unable to shake away his thoughts. Lately it was usually difficult for him to really relax and enjoy himself unless he was in his leopard form. Besides, while he was out walking there was a war raging between his people and the witches, and the only way to stop it was for him to find Iliana and marry her. He'd heard some rumors that she'd been seen in town and he ended of going to a public park in hopes of finding her. After spending hours walking and asking around, he eventually headed towards dark haired girl sitting on a park bench. She seemed to be staring intently at her meal, and he hesitated to sit besides her and interrupt her. "Hi, I'm really sorry to bother you. I'm trying to find someone, but I'm not sure if she's here. By any chance, would you happen to know a girl called Iliana?"

"This can’t be your first time playing pool, is it?"

"Close, it's my second time actually."

"Well in that case we share the same thoughts on the matter. I’ll be sure to take you up on that offer next time it confuses me. All is forgiven and the pleasure is shared, Galen. That was very sweet of you to say. It’s an old family name. So shall we begin?"

"It'll be my pleasure." He smiled, looking down at the pool table. "Of course. Here, I'll set it up. I'm warning you though, I may not be a very good teacher." He said, as he set up the balls.

"That’s fair, though it probably wasn’t a great idea to confess that you aren’t a great player in that case. Should have bluffed till the end."

"It wouldn't have taken very long for you to figure it out. Besides, I'm not a fan of bluffing."

"Not usually. Besides, you’d be surprised how much guys like when a girl loses."

"Guess you can't rely on luck. Well, those are the guys you shouldn't allow to win."

The woman fetched the balls from the pockets, laughing at the other’s comment. Yes that was true but she thought back to her college days when she could downright crush any competitor that stepped forward. At his question, she hesitated. Because maybe she ought to continue to pretend she didn’t know—that’s how swindlers worked right? Laughing at her own thought, she shook her head at herself. “Yeah but I’m really out of practice.”

"That's comforting... sort of." He laughed as well, watching her gather the balls and wondering how many times she'd done it before. No that he really minded, to him it was just a game. He'd had too much on his mind lately and since he arrived in town to search for Iliana he'd barely had any time to himself. Winning or loosing a game of pool was the least of his worries but he was grateful for the distraction. "Alright then, go all out. I'm terrible at this game, but I won't get any better if you go easy on me."

"I’m not very good at using cellular phones if that gives you any hint of how fast I am with learning. I suspect we will be equally matched. And since I’ve forgotten my manners for too long already I should introduce myself. I’m Ivory. You are?"

"That is completely understandable. Technology can be confusing, and I usually find it excessive, but if you ever need help with your cell I'd be happy to try. I'm sure you'll catch on quick. Of course, you must forgive me as well, I'm Galen. It's a pleasure to meet you Ivory, you have a lovely name."

"It works pretty well, I guess. I don’t win usually, but I like to test my luck."

"It's a good thing you don't play for money then. So, do you usually have good luck?"

"It might be. Although it would be just as much of a challenge for me to actually hit the ball."
