Modern Mythology: Witches

"When shall we three meet again, in thunder, lightning, or in rain?" Modern witches with the dirt from the graves they have dug under their nails and with something of ichor in their veins, for how else is their to explain the way her eyes burn, and once you grow close to them, it can no longer be told if their light is of the stars or a pyre. One taste of their poison and you’ll feel that it belongs no where else but your veins. They don shadows as comfortably as their own skin and greet the darkness with a kiss, but it is the darkness that presses prayers on their lips. The blood that stains the lines of their palms can give life or death, collapse all you have known with the turn of their lips, monsters have awoken at their feet and others found their graves. They can make each touch create a scar, for all that matters are the women beside them, who can understand the ashes in the others bones and the quiet wildfires under their skin. There is only decay and beating hearts and flames.

max grayson. easy. done. no but really he's the most like me with his easygoing attitude but there's things that annoy him even though he tries to not let them get to him. he knows what he wants and goes to get them like i do, but then he's also blind and wilfully ignorant of some of the issues with some of his thoughts, which i don't think i really have but i probably do. we have the same kind of rhythms which i think is why he's always been so easy to play.

15 days of tag · day thirteen: favourite scene that you’ve read

emily and james' second phone call. i love all of em and james' scenes, but this recent one has just stood out to me as being SO bittersweet. like em has screwed up so much and james is finally telling emily about all his problems with her, the problems she doesn't want to face. they're such a mess of a relationship but i love reading about them and all the emotions they both feel all the time. this scene has had more emotion than usual and i think it really does feel like an end, like when they hang up i'll feel the closure of the scene and their relationship too. vicki and jax have done a brilliant job of working through all the emotions involved in a breakup, so congrats gals for hooking me in! other faves: celia and callie at their house, the bonfire

15 days of tag · day twelve: favorite scene to play out

sam and dax's dream sequence. this was the scene where sam properly found out about magic and was told what she is; dax's familiar. i loved writing this scene so much because i loved getting the chance to write out that wide eyed wonder, shock and childlike joy that sam felt with the revelations. i felt i could really write her as if i was finding out about magic, adding in the pop culture stereotypes and all the assumptions you make about it. those which we have decided not to go with in the game but which are still so prevalent. the scene is such a turning point for sam and i loved every moment of writing out her discovery. plus, bex as dax was the perfect person/character to bounce this discovery off! always giving just enough to keep it going but never too much to overwhelm me or sam, in information told or anything else. this scene was so much fun to write and i'm quite proud of the result and how it all reads.   other faves: max and celia's reunion, idrys and isolde being snobbish, max and lara's run in

leaves their dirty clothes on the floor: celia, though max leaves his shoes everywhere and she always trips on themforgets to run the dish washer: max. well they don’t have a dishwasher but IF they did then max wouldn’t bother to run it, he’d just get in and do them by hand and then celia would tease him mercilessly because they do have a dishwasher you know? pumps gas for the car: celia (and max but mostly celia). because max will drive up and then celia will hope out so it’s a streamlined fast processdrives when they’re going somewhere: max, celia picks the musicrearranges the furniture: celia tells max where to move it all, so bothfalls asleep with the TV on: as established here, that would be celia gets to use the bathroom first: max, because he needs to leave earlier in the mornings and because celia takes the longest. he leaves the cereal out for her as he leaves thoughdecides the temperature for the ac/heater: celia thinks it’s her but max goes around changing it. because she sets it too hot/cold depending on the season and he doesn’t think it needs to be that extreme. he’s sneaky with it thoughsets up holiday decorations: both, as seen hereleaves the lights on: both of them. they have different rooms tho, max is the lounge room and celia’s is the bathroom uses the bathroom with the door open: max, like crooked open so they can talk in the morningsfixes the plumbing (or calls the plumber): celia calls. but max tries to do it and it works 1/10 times so then for the other times when it doesn’t work he spends the whole time referencing that one time it worked for him and celia just rolls her eyes and calls the plumber

15 days of tag · Day Five: Who is your favourite female character?

Again, so many awesome ones to choose from! But I'm going with Dahlia Winters. She's a character I've kinda wanted to plot with for a while and now I have an excuse :p I love reading her scenes and I'm really excited to see her and Lara together. She's just damn cool. (That wasn't meant to be a cryokinesis pun.)

this is a really easy question for me to answer. the thing i love most about playing at TAG is the people. even though we don't have many members, we have some amazing writers among the ones that we do have. there are so many great minds that are writing on the board that come up with some insane plot ideas, and also new games. i ♥ all of our members, and can't wait to see what other stories happen in the future!

i really was going to use callie for this one, up until i created alyson reeves last night. callie is a bit more carefree, more so than i am. alyson, on the other hand, now has no parents; she's got her older brother logan. but her passion is literature, both reading and writing it, and i love that. if i hadn't been so into web development, i would have loved to be an english major and be a teacher. so for that reason she won over callie. close call: callie cromwell

i'm pretty sure i'm not the only one who absolutely LOVED the moment these two met! what was there not to love, honestly? there was a whole couple of posts talking about a WHOOSH MOMENT! haha, they're awesomely awkward in that very first scene, and i can't wait to see how their friendship develops! other faves: hades/persephone scene at the masquerade, kane/faye at police station, celia/max (any scene)

i really had to think this one through... the scene i pick is when kora and kane found their mom's journal. it was the first scene i did with kora after she killed asher and it was when things within her really began to change. it was nice to see that kane was concerned for her and still had hope that she could turn out better. there are definitely more, but this was that big turning point for me with her and solidified the fact that she's my favorite on the board. other faves: all kora scenes, all emily malone scenes

this one was so easy! ever since ema put sam up in abraxas, i knew her ai choice was perfect! hyeri is exactly how i picture sam, quirky and silly and adorable. happy, too! i couldn't imagine her ai being anyone else! other faves: jake hold as marcus winters, liam neeson as aleksander foster, colin o'donoghue as garrett heartwood

i know i've already picked her for one of these, but i don't care! taylor momsen as kora blackwell is absolute perfection! ever since the day i picked her, i knew that there would be no other face claim for her. she's got that bad ass gothic look that i was going for when i created this young blackwell and now when i see pics of taylor online, i immediately think kora. other faves: bella thorne as kendal benson, britt robertson as emily malone, lyndsy fonseca as callie cromwell
