I’ve spent way too much time pretending

When did it all become less whimsical?

What if I’m never stable because I’m constantly at war with myself in my mind

I always have this fear that I’ll never be happy with anything

Read me your favourite book

Show me your favourite movie

Tell me all of the things you’ve never told a soul

I want to know you

Another shaky step forward at a time

Can you hear me?

Do my calls echo into other lifetimes?

Would you still recognize the sound of my voice?

i’m very self aware. which unfortunately hasn’t solved anything

I don’t know how to move forward with the weight of my past on my back

I want to take it all back

Every word like a knife

The chasms of silence

The cold glares shot in your direction

The way my angry screams would cut through the air

The palpable tension

The tears

I knew better, but the monster in me had control

I’m sorry

I want to spend all my time staring into those blue eyes

How lucky we are to exist at all

The idea of what if will have you waste what is

I hope our souls find each other in every lifetime
