Korea Box: A testimonial/review
First off... OMG it’s been FOREVER since I’ve been here but I’m only coming on here right now to do a little review/testimony of this amazing subscription box. Only update I’ll give about my life to everyone is that I’ve been working... a lot. NOW ONTO THE REVIEW!
Now if you haven’t heard about this subscription box... it’s a monthly subscription box that basically revolves around KPop... but they also have a snack box and a kbeauty box. The one I’m subscribed to is the KPop Box... not the one with the CD because I’m weird and like buying my CDs the moment it comes out plus... I don’t think I’d ever be able to fully list all the CDs I currently have to them either.
What is it?: The KPop box actually comes with 2-5 kpop merch and even a HANDWRITTEN LETTER from Sunny... the girl that is the brains behind the operation.
Items: It actually comes with several items every month. Like there was a month I got a phone case, another month a snapback (hat for those that don’t know), photocards, stickers, coin bank, tumbler (the summer one... I didn’t get a winter one... yet), keychain, cheering towel, etc. There is always something new every month. And it’s all customized to your liking on the groups you like. Only surprise is... you won’t know which groups would be on which item. But you can definitely be sure... it’s going to be a group you are a fan of.
Communication/Customer service: Sunny eonni actually is absolutely amazing! She answers you as quickly as possible. And she’s really nice!!! She also sends out a picture of your package a few days after she sends it. And if there’s a problem, like you are moving and you can’t give the new address on time... you can just let her know so she can hold off on sending the package until you can give the new shipping address. (tbh this is what I’m going through right now).
Shipping: The shipping is free. That’s the first thing I have to say. Second... when you get the confirmation it being sent, they will actually say the date that it was shipped. The rest really depends on Korea post and your country’s postal carrier.
Packaging: It comes in a small box that says Korea Box that’s blue and pink on the sides. The way the items are packed inside... you can tell it’s with care!
Cons: Honestly... I actually have never found any. I think the only con is one can get excited every single month to the point that they can get impatient for the package to arrive.
What makes Korea Box different from any subscription box out there: Honestly... there’s two things... one is... the fact sheet. It actually gives a lot of interesting facts about Korean history, culture and society. I actually learned a lot from it that I put the sheets in my binder and sometimes refer to it when I’m writing fanfiction. And there will ALWAYS be a handwritten letter. Not typed... HANDWRITTEN. And I mean on actual stationary. It actually adds the loving touch to the box itself and shows that they really care about the subscribers to their boxes.
Price: Okay the one I have is the KPop Box which is 29.99USD/month The KPop CD box is 34.99USD/month.
So if you’re interested... head to Korea Box’s website.
I hope you enjoyed my review. I don’t know when I’ll come onto tumblr again but I just wanted to share this subscription box with you and my experience with them.
