At a time when conditions are becoming more restrictive for LGBTQ+ people in some parts of Africa, the Republic of Botswana has taken an important step in protecting LGBTQ+ rights by officially removing old colonial-era laws that banned same-sex relationships from its statute books.
This move places Botswana alongside other African countries that have decriminalised same-sex relations, including South Africa, Angola, Mozambique, Seychelles, Cape Verde, and Lesotho.
Absolutely AWESOME!
Congratulations to Botswana, and Other African Countries That Have Taken Steps Decriminalize Same Sex Relationships...
Congratulations!
