Hiatus Notice

So my activity has dropped off significantly enough that I think it’s time to make this official. To make a long story short I’ve been hit with a much larger than anticipated final project for my college computer class, and that combined with a small move and lack of internet access means I don’t really have the time for roleplay and I probably won’t until this semester’s over.

Sorry to everyone who’s waiting on replies from me- I should be back sometime late May or early June depending on how easily my workload goes. If anyone wants to get in contact with me before then, I’ll be around Skype and I’ll be checking my messages on here whenever I can!

Chocolate hued eyes narrowed as she took in the information, body tensing slightly as the woman approached.

Hyrule? That…sounded familiar. Just like the woman’s face. She remembered speaking to someone that was from a place called Hyrule, someone who had become lost in the mountains and had found themselves in the town she had been staying in. But for some reason, that memory was foggy.

This woman, Zelda? She was a queen….but why would she waste her time on someone of such little importance? Normally Erika wasn’t this guarded…but the recent events had caused her to be much more cautious.

No. Not cautious, confused….and quite frankly, ready to die. How many times would this make in the recent months that she had come close to death? Only to be saved one way or another. This was just ingraining the truth she knew from childhood even deeper…

“…w-why did you sa…” she paused, collecting her thoughts for a moment, “…s-save me? You…h-have no reason too….”

That gave her pause. Zelda's eyes widened at the woman's statement and her mouth opened ever so slightly in surprise, not quite sure how to react. That almost sounded like she thought she shouldn't have been saved...

"I... Don't see why I would need a reason to do all that is in my ability to save someone's life," she spoke with a small shake of her head, still trying to make sense of Erika's statement. Perhaps she didn't believe her because of her status?

Zelda could understand that to an extent; if the girl was a foreigner to these lands, she may not have heard anything of Queen Zelda and would have no reason to immediately believe someone with such a high status would help her for selfless reasons. Perhaps she should have brought Sheik up after all...

She was a vision to him, amid the hours of darkness and torment. He knew it was her and not an apparition; he was more than willing to be pulled from the cold stone floor and into her lap.

How long had he prayed for salvation to come? How long had he pleaded for some end to the agony?

Guilt threatens to stifle his joy at seeing her again. But he cannot help the single prayer that escapes his lips after the faint whimper of pain as she draws his wounded body from the floor and into her gentle touch.
