I take off my skin, fold it neatly and put it on the bed. I dim the stars and close my eyes. I let the weight of the seven skies crush my ribs as it hugs me tight and I dream of the earth swallowing me whole. I felt as free as a mockingbird and stood as tall as an oak tree. I opened my eyes and for the first time i understood what it meant to be human, for a second there, i was set free.
