When their eyes met, Ashley couldn’t swore that the feeling of emptiness had disappeared. As if… whatever she thought she had lost had just been found. Maybe it was her shoe? No, she had the feeling all morning. Not being able to break her gaze with this man, Ashley tried to look for something in his eyes. Something that could give her a hint as to why she was feeling this way. As she gazed into them, she felt as though she could get lost in the sea that were his orbs. “But I bumped into you, sir… I can apologize for that, right?” She wasn’t even supposed to be talking to anyone, but something deep down forced the blonde to rebel.

Ashley looked slightly surprised at him, but lifted her foot for him as if she had done it before. Once he had slid the shoe onto her foot, a smile formed onto her face, “That surely feels better than stepping on pebbles. Thank you, sir.” she spoke, never breaking her gaze.

[ Her gaze was so enchanting that he hoped to never stop looking at her. Their unexpected meeting had turned his day on a brighter light, and he didn’t want at all to return to the darkness. He hoped that that moment would last forever, but he knew it wouldn’t. For now, though, he didn’t care. Carpe diem. ]

“We bumped into each other. If we started talking about who needs to apologize for what, we’ll stay here until tomorrow morning.”

[ Maybe that wasn’t a bad thing, after all. He surely wouldn’t mind hanging out with her for a long bit nor discovering more about her. Who was she? Where was she going? What was she thinking of to lose her shoe? Why was a pretty girl like her all alone? ]
