Every year in summer, the citizens of Vraelgard celebrate the solstice, fine weather, and blessings granted to them by the Sages. The entire country becomes adorned with brightly colored decorations. Many homes and businesses display large banners inscribed with wishes the creators pray for the Sages to fulfill: wishes of hope, peace, love – and some who long for more material things, such as fame or fortune. Regardless of their desires, it becomes obvious that a festival is in progress simply by viewing the decorations and the excited atmosphere. Even the most taciturn citizens seem to brighten as the festival comes near. These festivities aren’t open for just natives to Vraelgard; those from other worlds and different countries are welcomed to participate with open arms. It’s the perfect opportunity for those foreigners to try cuisine unique to Vraelgard and engage in local customs. The celebration lasts two weeks and is filled with music, performances, games, and food stands. It may even be a chance for commoners to interact more closely with the nobles. After all, even Princess Lilliana takes time out of her day to thank the Sages with a festival.

Ah. Well, that explains that. A voluntary gentle breeze certainly does the trick. Perhaps it was a silly question in the first place, Feli admits to herself.
“Mm.” The girl nods, “Thank you.”
Yes, definitely a silly question she deduces. Absentmindedly, she picks at the hems of her own dress. Ribbony and lacy, but certainly not as light of fabric as this acquaintance. It’s not very long…but certainly poofy. Still, slight embarrassment is swimming in her head. Even short tempered people like Feli know that’s just exploding for no reason if she lets it stay there.
“Do you have more like that or just the one?” Not exactly moving such a conversation along, Feli mentally snaps at herself, but she does her best to swallow it down.
the question takes sypha off-guard, and she has to ponder for a moment. in her eyes, new clothing and multiple outfits are a scarcity for individuals with little money. not that she could complain about lacking a lot of gold, but sypha must wonder, would the girl react poorly to hearing her lack of outfit options?
❝ i’ve had many as i’ve grown in height, but as of currently, i have only the one. i do wash it daily, but i haven’t procured more. ❞ she decides honesty is the best course of action, even if it may mean some judgment thrown onto her. ❝ they are a rarity where i come from, so i don’t have many options otherwise. though perhaps that sounds strange to hear? i’d imagine a charming girl like you would have a myriad of attire. ❞
Really now? Only one? Hm, that reminds her of another redhead in blue for some reason...
But clothes a rarity? That sounds ridiculous, not having more clothes in one’s own world and place. Here, it seems to be understandable. It’s not like one could’ve packed a suitcase in the moment they came here, could they? Well, she didn’t pack a suitcase anyways.
“Just a bit, but I am sure there’s stranger things out there. Thank you, however, for the compliment. I certainly like to think so.” Her fashion sense certainly has it’s own collection, though usually close to the next, with red bows and monochrome dresses.
“Unfortunately, I couldn’t bring my wardrobe with me.”
again i am so sorry
“Today was my dear Lemres’ birthday...I hope he is doing well...”
“And if any girl thinks they can try to win his heart without me around...I will make them RE-GRE-T IT.”
Had she said something wrong? Maybe she had misread the air or something, but the girl before her seems awfully defense. It did Moonlight a favor, though, as she seemed more awake than when she made her initial statement.
“Pardon me?” She had a habit of sleeping whenever she got sad…Not to mention, he previous duties as a guardian, her eternal slumber allowed for an entire ancient city to practically be wiped off of the map. Her culture would see this as normal. Maybe…Feli just misunderstood? There was a cookie whom beared resemblance to her…In her furthest dreams. But which one?
“I mean…I’m sure it could…But, I don’t really see the point.”
There was not really anything wrong, Feli was just like that. In Feli’s mind, bumping into someone is something that’s inevitable by fate, but you can at least attempt to hold your tongue from ridiculous notions. You just don’t sleep in the middle of the day. That’s inane.
There’s school, work, whatever. She knows very well that time is a precious resource, one that will lead into paths and bridges. You cannot just spend it sleeping! A fate led by sleep won’t lead to anything but the covers. Diligence doesn’t happen all the time and doesn’t have to, but what it sounds like, it sounds like this woman has nothing but sloth.
“A night’s sleep?” Now the girl was just getting annoyed, napping at night as well? All the adults in her life has always said something or other about 8 hours, her fated one chuckling at her when she insisted to finish a ritual that would take a long time. A nap is hardly that. No wonder there’s no energy, there’s hardly any!

“(I don’t recall this being apart of the city’s secrets…Though, I suppose those wizards had their own way of doing things…)” Moonlight had not recalled waking up, but something powerful enough drew her from her slumber to this particular city. She was musing to herself, and in her sleepy haze, had brushed past a teenage girl with just her hoop skirt. Perhaps it was time for a costume change? The wizard would have to come up with something a bit more space-saving, huh?
“Pardon me…I just woke up from my nap…I believe I’m about due for another one…” She hadn’t even been up for twenty minutes, but alright.
Despite the apology, Feli couldn’t help but give a sour frown. As a fellow dress wearer, albeit Feli’s has a much shorter length, at least be mindful on how it swishes. If she was any shorter, it might’ve as well hit her straight in the face.
“Your story makes no sense.” The girl replies blankly, blue eyes slightly glancing over this woman and onto the sky. It’s midday. Who just takes a nap at noon? That’s just plain ridiculous.
“You can wait until night, can’t you?”
Hm...
So little, yet so much at the same time. How fate is funny like that. She has two flimsy pieces of plastic and paper respectively, both in each hand. To her left, a credit card, ...there’s really nothing special to it. It’s just plastic. But somehow she had heard it had more money on it now? Where on Earth she heard that, the girl has no idea, but she’s not exactly complaining. It will certainly be useful when she’s out for a bit of shopping, when the time comes of course.
To her right, Feli has a travel visa. Now that piques a little more interest. Terra is in the middle of nowhere she thinks. It’s obviously not her world, but there’s a childish hope that her home is here somewhere. It’s not, of course it isn’t. (She’s still disappointed.) This thing does have it’s uses though...Aphelion for some reason sounds right up her alley.

After too long, Amalthea thinks, Amitie says, “Both, I guess. But I was talking about you.”
She admits to Feli this was in no way her idea to step into another world again and hopefully not her’s either. But she just got here and if it weren’t for another familiar face she wouldn’t be any better off.
They wait on something neither of them can put the words behind. A bird shoots from one tree’s bush to another and Amitie finds the silence between her and the hat no less comfortable.
She remembers where she left off on.
“Oh, I don’t know if you have anything on you, but I got keys to an apartment and a- a gift.. I don’t know who’s doing it but everyone I came across looks to have them too.”
Her life had been honestly normal, school studies, her divining, nothing out of the ordinary. The most she can really recall is visits from her hometown to Primp’s. She can remember the coarse sand of the desert as she walked close to the warlock. Their journey had felt oh-so short for the crushing girl.
“Like I said, I am fine. As for Primp, it hasn’t seemed to change. Though I do remember your teacher talking about something to my Lemres now that you mention our otherworldly hopping, my apologies though, I’m not sure what was said.” She was not exactly that close to either in the moment. Smothering wasn’t exactly an objective of hers, though she did wish to be next to her desired one. It was also not her fault they had talked in low voices, taunting her to strain her ear to eavesdrop.
Feli gives a soft ‘mm,’ at the explanation of being tossed into another world unexpectedly. Strings had pulled them together then, tight and tough to keep at least two residents of one world into another. It was utterly frustrating to not have an answer, but it’s as good as they both got. The future knows what it’s doing, the seer reminds herself, but she also reminds herself it likes to play with people like puppets. Fate is one to trust and distrust.
And the reveal that Amitie doesn’t know who it is either, it makes her purse her lip and crease her brow. Does that not just scream suspicious? It makes her feel like that childish green-haired man doing inane things for attention especially for the girl in blue-clad armor. It’s too suspicious for her, multiple people just appearing and having their own gifts in this little country? Yeah, no.
“I do as well...” She grabs her own apartment key hidden in her shoe, then slips it back into it’s hiding place.
It sounds stupid but now that she mentions it he really did feel cold. Sig just trained himself to grow numb to it so he can sleep longer (however one should go about doing that) but at this point he thinks he’s going to catch a cold.
“Um, yeah. And you probably are too.”
He pauses in thought to himself before getting up and wringing as much as his hands can get of his shirt and pants.
He has some questions but for now Sig urges them both to find a roof to stand under.
“There, maybe,” he says, pointing to an apartment complex they were close by. He’s too far away to make out which one it is but it just matters they get there quick. Like most things, Sig will worry about a change of clothes and a shower later.
She was indeed, forcing herself to not make her teeth chitter together. It wasn’t particularly windy, but the cool air made goosebumps shiver on her skin, if the raindrops didn't already.
Feli didn’t find the effort to dry off herself, somewhat pointless, after all, she was just going to get wet again in the downpour, it was in-nev-itable. Her spacey companion was a strange one to do so, she thought. The measly shelter of the tree wasn’t much, but it at least was a way to the next, so why dry off until positive you’ll be dry and warm? It’s just ridiculous.
The girl has her questions too, but that is not important. What is important is drying off. She stands on her toes to get a better look at what Sig is looking at. Luckily, she can make out some of the roof, thin as most apartment roofs are, but she suspects it’ll do.
“We shan’t dawdle.” She hums, putting her arms over her head in a fruitless effort to cover herself as if it won’t just her drenched little head, starting to run towards the building.

Familiarity. It is a feeling of oddness. Before, one was oblivious, never suspecting a thing. Then, one is hit with a rush of the feeling, realizing what is going on. Feli has been hit with this feeling.
There are certainly tons of hats in this world, Feli’s own ribbon somewhat of an example, even the color. However, there is simply only one that iconically strikes her eye. One would have to be trying to not recognize it, since only one girl wears one. Red, with big bulgy purple eyes, in the shape of a puyo.
“You…” Feli murmurs.
Amitie, whether or not she heard it, recites back to her, “You!”
The few times Amitie saw her in passing she thought she had her best chances befriending her as long as she doesn’t bring up Lemres or when Lemres wasn’t around them by a five mile radius. Otherwise, she always felt too intimidated in her company.
And seeing as how she didn’t run into her idol yet in this world, Amitie considers this is her one opportunity to start again with her. Maybe even put Feli in a better light to everyone back in Primp. Because she doesn’t know about everyone else but Amitie likes to see the good in everyone. And even the goddess has taken an interest in her, already telling Amitie (what she can assure her she knows plenty about) the branch of magic she works in and her connection to fate’s strings.
“I didn’t think I would see you here of all places,” she started. “How are things holding up?”
It seemed that Amitie had the same enthusiasm as she always had, with the same response to Feli’s. The feeling of familiarity washed over the goth girl again. Not like this was too far off from the usual adventure. Well, it was, but there were similarities as well.
At first, Feli had wondered if she was all alone, but now that clearly wasn’t the case. Though, if Amitie was here would there be others? She herself can’t recall a thing before she was transported, and there could be millions reasons on why.
“Neither did I. I would say I am fairly well.” Feli replied, her wondering heightened. There was a certain theme to transportation, many had to come along. She was not sure why, but that was fate’s desire. Is that why the two of them are here now? That seems like the most logical conclusion to her.
“Or do you mean Primp itself?” She had no clue on how long Amitie had been here, in all honesty. May it be a day, a week, whatever the case, but it sounded for much longer by the phrasing.
@perfectosky
It happened quickly, as most rain showers do. At first, there was nothing of note, the sky sunny and bright, no cloud in the sky. Then it started to pour, really, really pour. Most unfortunately, Feli did not have anything to keep her from being drenched in rain, a nearby tree she huddled under barely did anything to cover herself, her naturally long straight hair falling into her eyes.
Speaking of eyes, some were open, but soft snores meant certainly asleep. It actually quite surprised Feli, well, not the open-eyed sleeping all that much though that was certainly odd, but somewhat of a familiar face. …Just sleeping under a tree in the rain, completely unbothered. Puzzled, she tapped his shoulder.
He starts with a groan, stretching out of a developing cramp and leaning forward, hands on knees, before Sig can look up at her.
From how little they see each other back home, he feels bad for admitting he almost didn’t recognize her at first. Or it could always be his waking up just now that took a blow on Sig’s memory.
When he gets a closer look, though, it’s indisputable who stood in front of him. What with her way of dressing in frills and blacks and whites and the bow that bobbed at every step on her headband.
“Feli? You’re feli, right?”
“I am...” She falters for a moment, does this boy not realize it’s raining? He seems to just realize she’s there, and that just confuses Feli. Even if just waking up from a nap, she’d at least think he’d be a little cold from the droplets falling from the trees. Still soaked from head to toe, she’s surprised at the apathy at hand. Not like she expected...much.
She was not close to Sig, she actually had no clue if they had spoken before. Just remembering the name through mentions and passing. Though, that’s not exactly a concern to her. Not knowing many is just that, not knowing many people.
Cocking her head, she asks a question of her own, “Are you not cold or anything?” (As personally, she is.)
