Over three years we have processed over one million Instagram photos and created over 50.000 printable documents. Tons of photos of pretty babies, cute petties, great families, vibrant colors, unique patterns, and most importantly, our memories. How we come up with "Prinkl"
Our initial objective was to keep printsgram sound alike and associate with the word print. Better if it is a verb.
Brainstormed over and over, and created a huge names list, then the whole team agreed on reading through it before going to bed. We were supposed to write down the first name that came to our minds in the morning. Prinkl was shining in our minds :]
Finally, we researched more, just to be sure that if it was the right choice. We searched google, wolfram alpha, wordnik, panabee and some other services for semantic relations. Wolfram Alpha is interpreting "prinkl" as "print" which made us very happy and content about our choice of the new name.
Prinkl is now a far greater place to design, share and print your Instagram pictures. We are very excited to see your new creations. Incredibly big new features coming soon...
