NO2 plus water does a number on the heat affected zones on welds
This is how not to run an air classification cyclone.
Pipes and valves and expansion tank.
Motor control center aka MCC
Too much.
Good morning
I'm working on a patent. Never has the desire to stop, cut my losses, call it a day, been so strong. There's no guarantee of success or failure at this point so there's no point in quitting. I'm not doing all the work, which means I'm paying someone to help me, which means if I quit I would be no better off than if I had simply lit those thousands of dollars on fire and punched myself in the face.
This was the conversation my boss had with his boss yesterday. I'm pretty sure this qualifies for insanity.
Old MCC room in the plant, no longer in use, super creepy.
Cooling water supply to a heat exchanger. A shell and tube heat exchanger I was inspecting for blockage, and a nice ice formation (I didn’t understand how it formed until I looked to the left and saw a 2” line open and trickling water).
Forgot to mention, those balls are inside a ball mill.
Haven't been focused
My priorities have changed. I still work out but I’m trying to start a business (still), I’m buying a house, and I’m building track cars.
With that said, I am in no way prepared for goruck selection, and that doesn't mean I won't be prepared for it one day, but when opportunity comes you have to prioritize and sometimes there's not enough time for everything.
I am going to try to stay on top f this blogette a little more. I want people to see what it's like to be a process engineer. Maybe we spark some desire in people to get degrees in technical fields. :) if you have any questions or comments feel free to hit me up. If they're good I'll post them.
Leaky pipes at work.
also duct tape is very useful.
Nitric acid likes hot spots around welds and that boiler isn't boiling.
