Last night I went to my 2nd Warriors game at the Chase Center, and the Dubs came out cold shooting and played terrible defense, giving up 41 1st quarter points, while only putting up 27points of their own! They were much more competitive in the 2nd quarter, but lost that quarter by 3 points. At halftime it was 65-48 as the Dubs faced a 17 point deficit! At halftime Coach Kerr and his staff made some halftime adjustments, and the Warriors came out locked in and fighting, as they brought excitement back into the Chase Center, energizing the Dub Nation, while out scoring the Blazers by 35 2nd half points! That amazing victory propelled the Dubs from the 7th into the 5th playoff spot in the tightly contested Western Conference standings. Currently leaving themselves only 6 games behind the number 2 seed Memphis Grizzlies. If the Warriors can continue to play with the same intensity as they did in the 2nd half, cut down on their unforced turnovers, get Curry and Wiggins back, watch out Western Conference! Including the Joker and his conference leading Denver Nuggets! Which some people think are the best team in the league, including the Milwaukee Bucks and the Boston Celtics.
