PRISM follows the lives of Russian skaters Yuri and Victor as they become increasingly intertwined. Starting as just a young fan and his idol, the pair grows and evolves into mentorship, friendship, rivalry, and love.
Featuring 8 short stories and 48 pieces of art from an international team of creators, PRISM emphasizes bold and bright colors, micro-fiction, and one over-arching storyline about the ever-changing nature of love.

I kept forgetting over and over to post this on my Tumblr so since I was working on emails today for work I was like, “THIS! I GOTTA DO THIS TOO!”
Seriously though, I was literally deceased when I got my contributor’s copy in the mail weeks ago and then I sobbed. There was a thoughtful card included from the mod and I was truly touched.
For real though, the zine is gorgeous! The quality is amazing and I’m so blown away by the matte texture of the cover. It feels velvety and creamy, not like many other zines that I’ve gotten in the past. I also got to collaborate for the first time with the amazing author, @skateonme (aka Neptunedemons) so there’s a first look for the illustration I did for them. <3

Hello! When do preorders close?
Based on the sales of similar zines, we already had an order planned before we went live, but wanted to wait until our initial preorders confirmed that amount to approve the print run (which we did!).
We’re expecting zine delivery to me around March 1st, with shipment to folks who preordered by March 15th, and the store will then remain open until the zines sell out. They have an inventory limit set on them now through storenvy :), so just make sure you order before they’re gone!

It’s time! Pre-orders are now live for PRISM! Follow your favorite Russian ice skaters on their lifelong journey through all colors and flavors of relationships.
This 84-page physical zine contains 8 short stories and 48 pieces of art from an international team of creators focusing on Victor Nikiforov and Yuri Plisetsky.
PRISM features several pieces of artwork for each of our seven theme colors, complete with bonus spreads and illustrations for many of our short stories, from artists around the world:

So at the tail end of October, I was given the opportunity to create another piece for @prismyoi zine but this time I got to collaborate and illustrate for Xatyrn’s story! It truly is a beautiful and captivating piece of fiction and I can’t wait until everyone gets the chance to read it.
Thank you Xatyrn @skateonme for letting me create a piece for your story! It was an amazing pleasure working with you and bringing your words to life :D <3
You two created such a lovely addition to the zine! Purple was one of the more difficult sections, as it represents that transitional state between the flurry of new love/infatuation and the contentment of a long-term, established relationship. @skateonme‘s piece combined with your art captures this stage perfectly, and it was such a pleasure to see it come together!
