Due to the success of my previous "how to" FSX videos on how to perform an ILS approach or landing I have decided to shoot another tutorial with better graphics and audio. This autoland tutorial is only the exact same in a few default aircraft in FSX such as the Cessna 172 and the beech baron 58. Thank you for watching! :) Written Instructions: Step 1: Find your ILS Frequency by clicking on an airport of your choice in the "maps" page. Once you click on the airport look for a runway that has an ILS frequency and copy it down on a piece of paper. Step 2: Open your radio stack from the view menu at the top of your window. In the NAV 1 Standby block put in your ILS Frequency. Step 3: Line your aircraft up with the runway as if you were going to be landing yourself. Make sure you are about 2500 ft above the runway and a few miles away. In your aircraft's main panel, click the approach hold button as well as turn on your auto pilot button. Step 4: As the aircraft brings itself toward the runway, ensure you maintain a safe speed above your stall speed and when you feel comfortable with the approach and you have the runway in sight, turn off your auto pilot and complete the landing.

I made this video to help anyone who is struggling with installing new aircraft on their flight simulator (FSX). I also include the website I use to download my freeware aircraft which is Simviation. This method of installing planes to FSX work for normal Microsoft Flight Simulator X as well as the Steam edition which is what was used to demo the method in the video. After upgrading my system I have installed ORBX FTX Global and tweaked my graphics settings. I have downloaded a Freeware Airbus A318 that I love flying. It is a great quality aircraft and everything works great with it including autopilot. In this video I decided to do a flight from Orlando (KMCO) to San Juan International Airport (TJSJ). The footage at the beginning didn't turn out well because I had to depart via IFR and there was too much going on with ATC. Hope you all enjoyed the video. Spent an hour or so at London International Airport (CYXU) in London, ON and managed to catch an ORNGE air ambulance departing, a Air Canada Dash 8-100 and a Embraer Phenom 300 landing before the ORNGE air ambulance returned back. Hoping to get out there to do some more spotting and I will be posting more FSX videos in the very near future.

This is a compilation of some of the aircraft movements that I encountered during a few hour visit to the airport for some plane spotting I did some time ago. It was a perfect day for spotting. Welcome to my newest video that was suggested by a viewer " How to do an ILS approach and landing in a Boeing 747" In this video, I give a very detailed explanation of how to perform an ILS landing in a Boeing 747. If you're unsure, ILS means Instrument Landing System and it is a form of auto pilot used to landing in bad weather. If your aircraft is equipped it can guide your aircraft to the runway, as well as along the glide slope. Some of you may refer to this as auto landing. Welcome to another video! Today we had an engine failure in the Beechcraft Baron 58 causing us to have to make an emergency landing at the Chatham Airport in Chatham-Kent Ontario. I was flying along at 3000 ft when the left engine jerked and I wasn't sure was happened at first. I looked at the engine and it looked like it was slowing down. I than looked at the instrument panel and noticed my rpm and oil pressure going down and I knew that I had lost the left engine. I feathered the props, disengaged the autopilot and began my decent down towards the airport while making a call to the uncontrolled traffic to say I had an emergency. I landed safely, however I should have kept more altitude and speed on approach. Thank you all for taking the time to watch the video.
