What would Hermione Granger do?

In my opinion Hermione Granger would:

When in doubt go to the library!

Always be prepared – study in advance for new school year, for exams or for future adventures.

Know the rules and know how to bend them.

Be bossy in a good way.

Love a good mystery and be the first to uncover it.

Not believe anything until she sees it with her own eyes.

Stand up for her friends and always be there when needed.

Protect her friends and family.

Defend the rights of minorities by founding organization to support them (e.g. S.P.E.W)

Fight for truth and justice.

Risk everything for true friends and all good and the better future.

Expect the worst but hope for the best.

Be proud of who she is!

Ron Weasley is Our King

Ron was staring transfixed at his image.

"Look at me!" he said. "I'm different - I look older - and I'm Head Boy! I am wearing the badge like Bill used to - and I'm holding the House Cup and the Quidditch Cup - I'm Quidditch captain, too!"

That's what Ron Weasley saw in the Mirror of the Erised. And it is "deepest, most desperate desire of his heart."

Ron Weasley is my inspiration. He wanted to be like his brothers for he considered himself ordinary, a failure and not like the rest of the family. But after all hardships he did become the person he desired to be. He became a prefect. He became a king at Quidditch and helped win the Quidditch cup. He became a hero in the wizarding world fighting all battles against Voldemort and his supporters. I don't think he did it to achieve that image he saw in the mirror. He just lived his life. And that is my advice to everyone: just live your life and don't lose yourself in dreams.

If I were at Hogwarts I would be extremely nervous about the sorting. I think I am half Ravenclaw and half Hufflepuff, but also a little Gryffindor and Slytherin. Is it possible? Would I be a hatstall?

My apprehension of Hogwarts houses

Hufflepuff

They are very loyal and value friendship most of all. They are those friends who will always be there for you. They are like empaths – they feel your emotions and always know what words to say and how to comfort you. They are hard-working and at school they always do what teachers tell them. They can find beauty in the most dreadful things, light in the darkest places and joy in the most terrible time.

Ravenclaw

This lot is very unique. You‘ll never meet anyone like them. I don’t think that they study all the time, they surely follow the saying “work smarter not harder”. And that’s why they are innovators. Every day they invent new ways to do things. They always think of some new spells to minimize the work they have to do – a quill with the infinite ink, self-tying laces for shoes and many more. They are very rational – they think with their head and not only their heart. They believe in things no one believes in for in every story they don’t see fiction or myths but a trifle of truth.

Gryffindor

They love to have fun and believe that rules are made to be broken. However, they don’t just break rules but find loopholes – how one can do what is forbidden in a way that no one would be able to prove it. They are big defenders – they always defend the weak ones. In my opinion they value justice and get really upset when injustice occurs but such things only fuel them for next time they’ll be ready to fight for truth. They are the curious ones and they strive to discover the unknown. Maybe that’s the reason they break rules so much – if its forbidden to do it doesn’t mean that it can’t be done.

Slytherin

I kind of understand why they are so into the purity of blood. They come from a long line of witches and wizards and everyone assume that everything comes easy for them. Every day they hear others bragging about being exceptional – “my parents are muggles and they were very surprised that I received the letter”. And that make them envious for they do struggle with magic as everyone else and being born in a pure magic family doesn’t make them less worthy. They are very ambitious – they want to prove themselves to everyone and also be admired.

If I were at Hogwarts I would frequently come to the Ravenclaw entrance just to solve riddles. I think I could stand there for hours solving riddle after riddle.

If I were at Hogwarts I would love to use the Room of Requirement. It would be a silent place with cosy sofas or armchairs and lots of bookcases filled with every book I every wanted to read. I would love to spend there the nights when I can’t sleep.
