Otherkin is the spiritual belief that you weren’t human in a past life. In other words. If you are Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Atheist, or a lot of other things. You can’t be otherkin, assuming you don’t stray from the path and built your own version of that. You have to believe in reincarnation. Otherkin believe they are very much human NOW, but, in a past life they were another being and their souls are more connected to their past selves than other people. Wanting to be otherkin is like wanting to get hit by a bus and be paralyzed. A lot of otherkin talk about the phantom limbs and dysphoria, but, that’s not even the half of it. I hate so say it, but, Anti-Otherkin are right about a lot of things, but, that is only because the “otherkin community” made otherkin into a trend. It not cool, fun, attractive, or anything positive to be an otherkin. It just is. Same with LGBT. It just is. There is no need for hate or pride. It’s just is a part of someone and their personality. It’s like if someone who likes pizza with a lot of meat thought I was stupid and inane for liking veggies on my pizza. It’s pizza. Calm the hell down, dude. Some people believe things you don’t, some people like things you don’t, some people do or say things you think are weird. It’s nothing new. Calm down and shut up. Live you life and stop shoving your way of doing things on each other. That includes us as otherkin. Maybe, when someone calls you nuts. You should realize that they don’t know what they are talking about and move on. Also, as far as fictionkin that is basically where the infinite multiverse theory collides with the belief in reincarnation. So, like science religion combo with a dash of hopeful thinking. So, again…. everybody, shut up.
