sometimes this will be funny. sometimes poetic. sometimes both in the same sentence.

ya’ll will never understand the instant freedom I felt the second I hit 'submit' on that god-forsaken AP Art portfolio.

like I swear I physically ascended for 0.3 seconds. suddenly I am weightless, untethered, no longer bound to color corrections, deadlines, or the emotional labor of convincing a piece of cardboard that it is “conceptual.”

started watching Dead Poets Society for the first time and unfortunately already know who dies because of my freakin sister, which means I’m not watching a movie so much as voluntarily walking toward emotional devastation with full prior knowledge.

every scene feels like dramatic irony and a threat. I’m scared. why did I press play.

Edit 2 days later: don't fucking talk to me.

today i saw a bird just standing in the middle of a parking lot doing absolutely nothing

and for a moment i felt like we understood each other

My search history is 30% ambition, 40% panic, 30% personality crisis

Sometimes I think I’m lazy, but then I realize I actually have 47 thoughts happening at once

And none of them are about the assignment.
