Join the #EndGunViolence Craftivism Project

Unfortunately, this project feels more and more important every day. I am having a very hard time processing Orlando. As a member of the LGBTQ community this latest mass shooting is fucking with me on a core level. I can’t be on social media without bursting into tears. I cried the entire time I stitched this gun to add to the #EndGunViolence series. 

I hope you will participate. I would love for our stitching + craft community to create both a visual impact but more importantly I want to raise a shit ton of money for Project FIRE and fund some serious healing. 

Details on how to participate are posted here. This is not limited to just cross stitch. Bring on the weavers and the crocheters and the knitters and the painters and the woodworkers and anyone with any desire to create some art for change!

I'm trying to follow the pattern for Hamilton you posted and really struggling- I can't make out the grid under the pattern itself. Could you let me know number of stitches or something?? Thank you so much- it's a beautiful pattern and I can't wait to try it...

i remade the pattern here to make it a bit easier to see. if you download the image you should be able to zoom in and see the grid better. the horizontal points of the star are 134 across. hopefully that helps a bit?
