Oh, yes, please.
Miss Meadowes, how wonderful. I have a few ideas, you could say.

Oh, yes, please.
Miss Meadowes, how wonderful. I have a few ideas, you could say.
Oh, absolutely
Wonderful. Follow along.
Tell me miss Jones, how much do you know about centaurs?
Interested in some extra credit?
Lockhart did it.
Now now, do not blame it on someone else, Mr Hixon.
I believe that calls for detention at my office tonight at eight.
That sounds good. Thank you so much, Professor.
Six thirty it is. Now scoot along so you don't miss transfiguration or whatever you have next.
*Scrunches up her nose* Yeah, they’re very good at quidditch. It is interesting.. although I’m more into charms. *laughs* Professor Flitwick taught me how to make cupcakes dance.
Yes, we won the Quidditch tournament three years in a row back in the days. We all have our preferences. Cupcakes dance you say? That must be quite the sight.
Yes, sir, I suppose it only makes sense, really. Does it require any special focus, like the Patronus charm? [swallows hard, still refusing to make eye contact] Yes, sir, I do try to avoid fights of any sort. Oh, there’s no need to apologize, sir, I don’t mind your concern at all.
It is not quite the same as the Patronus charm, but not every witch and wizard can preform it. I have no doubt, however, that it will be a problem for you. If the situation appears, that is. [Watches her] As a teacher I cannot pretend that nothing is going on here, miss Meadowes. If someone is pestering you, actions needs to be made.
-wakes up with a jolt, and realizes the class is over- …Bollocks.
Fell asleep, did we?
Quite well actually *Nods happily* Even if we don’t win it’s the taking part that counts. I look forward to writing it.
Yes, the Slytherins seem to be practicing a lot as well. It is an interesting subject.
No, that wouldn’t be…I’m willing to try anything at this point, to be honest.
Okay, how about placing our first session already tomorrow after supper? Shall we say six thirty?
Thank you. I’ve been reading a lot about them lately but most of the books are not really precise. I know the killing curse is pretty definitive but the other two I’m interested in. Is there a way of protecting yourself against them? Because a simple shield charm doesn’t work, does it? And… how are their effects treated? Because simple healing spells or potions don’t work when your mind is damaged.
I would suggest not getting your mind too deep into those kind of areas, miss.
You are very correct, the Cruciatus curse in particular is hard to withstand. Of course you can, if possible, simply dodge it. And seeing as the curse works solemnly in your own mind, you can if you are strong-willed enough, resist it until the caster lifts the curse. Because of the pain residing only in your mind, the only thing that will work is to realize that it's only in your head. Something that of course is easier to say than actually do. A few sedatives could work to numb the pain as well, as few know how the pain works. Resisting the Imperius Curse can be done with Occlumency if you are prepared. But getting back your memory after such curse.. There is yet not a cure for it.
Professor, I’m having trouble with everything lately. I’m trying to keep up, I really am, but I just can’t.
I have come to notice, but I hoped it all was just a phase and that you soon would begin to pick up on your grades. Would it be completely out of question to suggest a few private lessons to get you back in the game?
Thank you very much, Professor, I’ve been wondering that for a while. [blushes, ducking her head] I- erm- no, no, of course not, that’s just- I fell, see. On the stairs.
The spell will take a greater deal of magic, though. Along with a few hands full of focus. Ah the stairs! Of course, it is after all highly unlikely for a girl to get into physical fights. I do apologize for being so nosy. It was non of my business.
Yes, we’re determined that this will Ravenclaws time to shine so we’re all working extra hard under Emmeline’s orders. It shouldn’t be a problem though, I can always find time.
How is it working so far then? Good to hear, I look forward to reading your paper about nonverbal spells.
Well, I hope you don’t think this is out of place… but I was wondering if you could tell me something about… unforgivable curses.
Well we aren't supposed to touch that subject until spring, but I suppose I can make an exception. What is it that you seek to know?
When is the essay due again, Professor? I misheard you.
Tuesday next week, miss Jones. I hope that won't be a problem, I've heard that the Ravenclaw team have been practicing a lot out of late.
