I’ve had a lot of family things going on, medical things here and there but I wanted to let people know that I’m okay? Just dealing with a bit. I may be around at some point soon, not sure.

Len remembered something about that. He’d been focused on his own work most of the time even when he /had/ been fighting the Flash, and he hadn’t looked up much of any future timeline he might be involved in while on the Waverider.

“Rings a bell.” He drawled, not commenting on the unusual name. “And you helped me out there /why/, exactly?”

“I’m planning to change a few things to secure my own Future. Given that you were about to die in a temporal explosion perhaps you’d care to join me?” he offered, watching the calculating man as he thought about his options. “I need partner’s in this endeavor. You’d get a chance to change things for yourself and your sister if you so chose. Maybe even rid the world of the Flash while you’re at it. Sound like a good plan?”

A matter of the mind

“Hmm, I suppose you’re right. I will end up imprisoned if I get caught” he smirked, slowly pacing as he watched the man intently. He seemed headstrong, yet afraid at the same time. Were Eobard a player of ancient outdated games, he’d have said he was putting on a poker face.

“Then, perhaps I should have contingencies and plans in place in case the help that I seek outsmarts me” he nodded thinking up plans for way to distract and divert the ones that would be helping him return home.

Harrison just sunk down on the ground of the cold steal floor inside this miserable cell. All around, it looked like something that could cage an animal. “What do you even want? Why do you even need my body so much? Would I even be able to get out?” But then Tess laying dead in the passenger seat flashed through his eyes and anger went through his eyes. Slowly his eyes went red and then he got up and looked this man. 

“What the fuck was so important that you had to kill people for?” He asked as he slowly paced through the cell. “Have you ever loved anyone? I doubt you have. Because no one that has loved someone would do this to another.” He looked around this cell and then an idea went through his mind. What if this wasn’t just physical but psychological? What if this Eobard could feel his fears? So he thought so heard, felt every pain and felt every ounce of anger and sadness through his eyes.

“Harrison, always so passionate aren’t you?” he chuckled, Grinning at the man whose life he’d usurped. The two of them arguing like this, an unintended side effect of the process that overwrote his base DNA with that of Harrison. He wanted to vibrate into the cage, to strangle the man and silence him forever.

In fact he planned on doing something like that exactly but he hesitated. It was as if his words permeated his core, not that it really mattered since he wasn’t swayed by the man’s words. His hand started vibrating, lightning sparking as he moved it up and down in the air, hoping to threaten the captive scientist.

“...Clever...using the neural link to allow me to feel your emotions. Harrison Wells, ever the thinker, ever the scientist” he paused thinking on his words from earlier. “If I have loved it doesn’t matter because its all gone. Gone taken from me by a menace in a red suit! One that I idolized in a bygone time when I was carefree wanting to help. But then...Oh Harrison the things I learned then changed me the way I’m going to change this city” he spoke emotion actually affecting his voice as he turned away from his captive.

“Well well, it looks like I’m not the only person who needs to escape their fate now am I?” he remarked having just snatched the man from an explosion. He knew him from history, one of the first rival’s to the Flash other than himself to be considered a nemesis. At least normally, he wasn’t entirely sure just what Captain Cold of all people was doing helping Rip Hunter.

“Leonard Snart, working with Rip Hunter to over throw the Time Masters. I must say this is interesting”

It took him a moment to process the situation - the shock of being /alive/ and the disorientation caused by the super speed travel throwing him off his game.

He didn’t recognise the man who’d saved him and watched him warily, unsure what he wanted or why he’d stepped in.

“You have me at a disadvantage. You know /my/ name, can’t say the same for you. Want to fill me in?”

He regarded the man with a smirk. Clearly he’d been out of the timestream or simply just didn’t care to look up anything about the other people that The Flash had fought. Eobard chuckled leaning up against a nearby wall. Perhaps he was feeling generous, but then again he had a newly limited lease on life so why not bring people into the fold.

“My name is...Eobard Thawne. You wouldn’t know that one but perhaps you know the name The Reverse Flash?” he suggested curious as to what he knew.
