At this year’s @spx, joined by @franksantoro I was able to translate how my mind works when creating comics. Music to me is math, comics are geometry, so the two go hand in hand. I’m not gonna give away much sooooo, give this a watch to learn how I combine the two using geometry to make melodic comics.

The past few months I've been redesigning some of my favorite characters from Matilda. There's a ton of other drawings I did that I may compile into a little sketchbook. One thing doing this project is to test how well I can stay on a tight schedule. And what I learned is that is hella hard, but not impossible. I learned a ton of time management ideas through failing a lot through this. Hope y'all like! Got more stuff in the mix!

52 years ago today, Malcolm X was assassinated.

We lost one of the greatest truth speaker’s in this nation’s history. rest in peace to this amazing person, you sure haven’t been forgotten.

Despite freedom of information act requests throughout the years, New York still will not release records (of Malkolm X assassination) to the public and claim files would endanger the safety of police officers and constitute unwarranted invasions of privacy

Malcolm X stood for the black man to be respected for what he was, a man. He did say things that did come off as violent or pro-hate (he encouraged violence in self defense, not unprovoked aggression ). The man had anger, his own father was lynched when he was just a child. He used facts, he used speech, as his weapons. He is the farthest thing from evil, but he’s not a saint neither. He is just a man who wanted change for his people and demanded they be treated like human beings. America, the country that is for not just them, but us too. And he was willing to make that happen.
