The outside is the same as usual. A calm night, moonlight reflecting across the lake a bit down below. It definitely looks… serene. Many trolls would love to come across here for a hike, and yet this place is as deserted as it could be.

Sometimes you swear you can see lights from the opposite side of the lake, but you’ve been there. There’s no cabin other than yours in this place. You’ve checked for traces of hikers more than once, and never have you seen any waste that had gotten left behind.

And that’s kind of comforting yet sickening at the same time.
