Grabthar: Grabthar is a troll who runs a pawn shop in A-Town. He is one of Katilla's closest friends and long-time companions. Grabthar is not very popular in A-Town due to his lewd and jerkass nature. Many residents question why Grabthar and Katilla are friends in general. When Katilla was a kid, she found Grabthar on the path that is 10 miles away from her village. He was left for dead by members of his party and was stabbed in the chest via a sword. Katilla felt sorry for him. So she took the sword out of Grabthar and took him to the village. Grabthar thanked her for it and became her first companion when she came of adventuring age. Grabthar came from a family that ran a shop in Dolkrin. He is the middle of three boys. His mother Lutha mostly raised them while his father Ethar went out to deliver milk jugs and never came back. Grabthar's mother still lives in Dolkrin while his brothers live in S-City. He claims he does not care but he is really lonely inside.

Sky: Sky is a grasshopper who is half of a musical duo with his husband Eric. He is a flutist. When Sky isn't performing music, he tends to a flock of sheep. Sky only sells sheep wool, not meat. Sky and Eric come from an alternate universe where insects are the dominant species and have elemental powers. he has the ability to create plants. Sky lost his parents at a young age and was taken in by his grandmother Rev. Sakano, the head of a Buddhist temple. Rev. Sakano instilled a lot of values into him. Sky first met Eric at a concert and they have been together since then. Sky and Eric have been living in A-Town since the 1990s. He is one of the more sensible residents whom, Tessie looks up to for advice. Eric: Sky's husband. Eric is an ant who is half of the musical duo with Sky. He is a guitarist. He is a red ant who has fire powers. He was born in Ant Blue Hill in where he was adopted by a brown ant couple. He has two younger siblings who live in other parts of R-Island. Eric used to hate his fire powers as he associated it with his anger issues and tried to hide it for most of his teenage years. However, it changed when he was an exchange student in Bugsaka. Eric met Sky at a concert and have been together since. Eric also realized that his fire powers didn't have to be associated with anger. He started to use his fire powers in a more positive way. Eric also became a Buddhist. Eric is a bit rough around the edges but he gets along with the majority of the residents in A-Town. When he doesn't perform music, Eric does anger management counseling.

Regis: Regis, is an aging Mantis Shrimp fashion designer. He used to be a famous fashion superstar, but those days are behind him and he mostly runs a small boutique. Regis was born in an alternate history version of a post-World War II/Cold War era in where mutated humanoid animals were used to fight battles. However, Regis was more interested in fashion than fighting. One day, He and his twin brother Rebus found a dimensional portal that was being worked on by the scientists who created them. They touched the portal and were transported to a cartoon world. From there, he became famous. At some point in his life, he moved to A-Town while his brother currently lives in S-City. Regis believes he is the one to have the greatest fashion sense. He can be really catty and moody at times and will criticize the fashion styles of others. Regis is also very vain as he worries about being old. However, he does care about his friends and his boyfriend Terrance. Den: One of Regis' multiple exes. Den is a hippy hermit crab who runs a dispensary called Den's Den in A-Town. He is mostly chill unless he is with Regis. They tend to be tense with each other which is why they broke up. They only still live together because Den feels bad for Regis. He is currently in a relationship with Steg, a monster child psychologist.

A-Town is going to be on a irregular basis. I will be taking a summer class tomorrow. It will last for a month. I also need to go back to doing my exhibition project for my school.

Bongie: Bongie, is the son of the famous video game character Bong Boom. He comes from a dimension called VG World which is where all the video game characters live in. Bongie works as a delivery person at A-Town's postal service. He always tries to prove he is more than just the son of Bong Boom, but his childlike behavior gets in the way. He also wants to be the star of his own video game. Tab: Tab, is Bongie's childhood friend from VG World. Tab's father works as one of the enemies in Bong Boom's game. However, he prefers not to follow in his father's footsteps. Tab is a chiptune artist who presents his music as culturally authentic. He is also more real world-savvy than Bongie. Dorothée: Dorothée, is the former princess of the magical realm Trombasia. She comes from a long line of magical girls. Her magical girl name was ''Darling Dorothée'' and she was once part of a magical girl team. Dorothée currently works as a kindergarten teacher. She is a very sweet woman that Bong has a crush on. Stella: Stella, is a small octopus with telekinetic powers. She was genetically modified by a group of scientists. Stella escaped from the lab and went to R-Island in where she was under government assistance and got an education. She works as a accountant at a business firm. Stella is also into Yaoi and she has a big collection of it.

Scud: Scud is an Earthworm. His family comes from an underground society of highly advanced worms. His parents work at a funeral home in B-Town which is next to A-Town. During the daytime, Scud works as a barista at A-Town's bookstore but he is an active partygoer at night. O. Takato: O. Takato is a DJ who also has a rap career. He is one of Tab's friends Takato is an Oni who comes from the Tokyo-side of the underworld. He is the leader of his crew and is the only who doesn't live in S-City. Takato is easy-going and is great with children.

Wyatt: Wyatt is a TMAX-400 unit and Veronica's boyfriend. The TMAX-400 units were created by Nega scientist Dr. Lense. Wyatt comes from a war-torn theocratic dimension called Eastrest. At some point, Wyatt, his brother Cory and Nathan (who later became Cory's husband) found a dimensional portal and escaped to Earth. In A-Town, Wyatt currently runs a photography business with Cory and Nathan. He is the one who handles their finances. Wyatt suffers from depression and anxiety and he often attends group therapy sessions for it. He also receives support from his family and friends. Living in A-Town has made Wyatt realized that people of different faiths can get along rather than going to war over their religions. He is also currently seeking a religion that feels right for him. Cory: Cory is Wyatt's baby brother. He is also taller than Wyatt. Unlike his brother, Cory is a K-200 unit. K-200 units were also created by Dr. Lense. In A-Town, Cory runs the photography business with his husband Nathan and Wyatt. He was the one who came up with the business. Cory is a bubbly and happy robot who loves stuffed toys, Disney movies and cats. He uses these to cope with the trauma he had on Eastrest. Living in A-Town has given Cory a chance to be himself and to be with the one he loves. Nathan: Nathan is a NIK unit and Cory's husband. NIK units are giant robots with cockpits and were created by a group of Nega scientists. Although he looks intimidating, Nathan is a gentle giant. He tries to handle everything in a delicate manner. Nathan runs the photography business with his husband and brother-in-law. He has the ability to take pictures with his eye. He shares the same interests with his husband.

Veronica: Veronica is a Cap-Bot born as Ron. Cap-Bots are robots that come in two types:bottle cap and humanoid. She comes from a more technologically advanced version of Earth. In A-Town, Veronica works as a construction worker for Double Builds. She has only been transitioning for a year with the support of the A-Town residents and her younger sister Ten who is also transgender. Veronica admires the strongest people in her life. She is very skeptical of religions due to a bad experience with her relatives. This is contrast with her spiritual-seeking boyfriend Wyatt. Antonio: Veronica's ex-boyfriend which was before she transitioned. He is also a capt-bot. Antonio was part of an elite commando unit comprised of cap-bots of varying nationalites. He was discharged from the unit when he became partially blind. In A-Town, he works at the grocery store and is currently in a relationship with an Orange nurse named Marty. Benito: Antonio's younger brother. He works at the same construction company as Veronica. Benito is a fun guy to be around with and he likes to party. He is also very irresponsible much to the chagrin of his brother.

Amelie: Amelie is a yeti who comes from an alternate Earth where bigfoots, sasquatches and yetis are the predominant species. Amelie is a Quebecois yeti whose family currently lives in Moncton, New Brunswick. She is also Katilla's girlfriend. She is more sensible than Katilla and tries to talk things through with others. She also does her part for the community.

There will be new character profiles for A-Town on the way. It’s been a few months and I’ve been wanting to finish them. The first new one will be up in a few hours.

Katilla: An Elven warrior turned into the current sheriff of A-Town. Katilla comes from the DnD-esque world of Dolkrin. Unlike most elves, Katilla is very hot-blooded and hardy. She never knew her biological parents as they were murdered when she was an infant. Katilla was raised by a tribe of Ogres. As a result, she became one of the best warriors. At a young age, Katilla knew she was different and struggled with identity issues. Some of the ogres from the tribe look down on her for being an elf; while most elves barely saw her as an elf. Katilla eventually realized that she should be herself and not let anyone tell her otherwise. After years of traveling with various parties, Katilla and her cohort Grabthar transported to R-Island through a portal. She has long since retired from adventuring and is in a relationship with a Yeti named Amelie. Terrance: Katilla's 1st roommate. Terrance is an anthropomorphic Marimo from the underwater world of Oceaniala. He runs a bakery alongside a dog named Donna. Since Terrance can't do anything when he is not under water; he gets around it by using a mechanical body. He is very caring and grounded. Terrance has been in a long-term relationship with a Mantis Shrimp named Regis who is 40 years older than him. Kem: Katilla's 2nd roommate. Kem is part of an butterfly-like alien race called Windlies who come from the planet Bluwieu. He is Salena's childhood friend and goes to the same college as her. Unlike Salena, Kem is very spiritual. He is also very shy. Kem's early years were very rough. His parents were cult leaders who emotionally and physically abuse him. The only friend Kem had was an older girl name Miri. One night, Kem and Miri sneaked out from the compound. They were discovered by a farmer. Miri told the farmer about the cult and the entire compound was raided. Kem's parents were arrested and his maternal aunt took full custody of him. Living with his aunt's family was far more happier than living on the compound. However it was struck by tragedy. Kem's aunt passed away from terminal illness and his uncle left the family. Because of this, his cousin Hy took custody of Kem and their younger sister Kibby. Since graduating from high school, Kem has lived with Katilla, Terrance and Dahl. Dahl (Madame Dahlia): Katilla's 3rd roommate. Dahl is an alien from the alternate dimension of Finaye. They were bored with life on Finaye so Dahl moved to R-Island so they can practice their psychic powers in an organic way. Dahl also works as a fortune teller under the persona of Madame Dahlia.

Tessie: An Thai-American college student. She is the first normal person to live in A-Town. Tessie can be a bit weirded out by the residents. Despite that; she is a nice girl who is willingly to make friends with the residents of A-Town. Cerise: Tessie's roommate. Cerise is the princess of Pixieland. Behind her public persona as a sweet princess lies an angry and bitchy pixie. Cerise often strives for trying to maintain her celebrity status at all costs. She is also vacuous and shallow. Cerise was sent to R-Island because her parents (the King and Queen of Pixieland) thought their colleges are better and they also paid for her tuition. As a result, Cerise is very happy that she is living in R-Island since she can get away with partying and being laid without being watched. Salena: Tessie's other roommate. She is a pink fairy armadillo who is into technology. Salena is very intelligent as she had graduated from high school at the age of 14. However she has trouble fitting in and only had a few friends before Tessie came along. Salena is also an atheist as she was mostly raised by her uncle who shared the same beliefs. Ever since meeting Tessie; Salena has been trying to be more social.

A-Town Launch

Here’s the Tumblr page for a pet project I’ve been working on for four years. 

A-Town is about a young woman named Tessie who is sent to live in A-Town as part of a government program. A-Town is located in R-Island whose population come from other worlds and alternate dimensions. Tessie is the first normal person to live in A-Town as she contends with its’ odd inhabitants.

Updates will be sporadic due to school and other responsibilities.
