A huge shout out to @bizcotti.art on Instagram for vectorising the Project G2 Redo logo for me! They're a lovely artist who is brilliant at cleaning up and vectorising graphics, as well as making gorgeous handmade art pieces and accessories. Songbirds and Snakes: A Hunger Games custom <3

She was made with a base from the awesome @projectg2redo and hair from shimmerlocks.

She is inspired by my favorite book series of all time, The Hunger Games. The colors were very much inspired from The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes cover, with a naturey green and gold accents. One side depicts a Mockingjay bird singing on a tree branch, while katniss and dandelion flowers grow at its base. The other side depicts a snake crawling up a bush of white roses. A few drops of blood stain the pure white petals.

Excited to FINALLY post my review of the lovely pony bases from @projectg2redo ! (I've been holding off on sharing pictures until the videos were all done haha) Thank you again to Grace Ruby for producing these lovely blanks especially for customizers so there can be more G2 love in the world! The ponies themselves are very nice quality, with lovely plastic, printed eyes, holes for the hair and tail, special markings on the hooves, and there are also lovely extras you can buy such as stickers or those beautiful little eye gems! Everything is just so perfect, I hope you guys enjoy looking at this lovely blank pony ^^

Conceptional gen 6 of My Little Pony that I’ve been thinking about since G5 ended.

I wanted to give my own take of a potential new generation f MLP that gives homage to the previous generation and I think G2 have so much potential to develop into a show. Generation 2 never got its own animated series despite having some very fun characters.

So what have I done and how does it differ from the original generation?

Well, in terms of lore I haven’t changed much since there isn’t a lot to find in the first place. The land is still called Ponyland and their village is called Friendship Gardens like in the original comics. The lack of details gives us the opportunity to develop it a lot ourselves.

What I have updated/changed is the ponies themselves. Pegasi have been added and unicorns are now more common than before. Cutie marks are more colorful to look less like stamps.

In the beginning I wanted to make the main characters a group of six. The plan was for Sky Skimmer and Morning Glory to join the main cast but i decided to only use the 'core four' in the end. Sundance acting like our protagonist with her curious personality.

Random ideas I’ve had so far:

- Dainty Dove and Proudfoot is Light Heart's parents

- Silver Swirl is the ruling queen of Ponyland, her daughter Diamond Glow 'Swirly' is next in line.

- Lady Moon Shadow is a powerful mage in the royal court

Morning Glory and Clever Clover have a son named Fleur

Miss Pompon's Mystery pony- who later was nicknamed as "Apple Meadow" (fan name), an unreleased G2 who was planned for a line of fruit themed purse ponies in 2003. Originally Apple Meadow was thought to be a strange Puff variant or factory mistake, without a mark. The pony is already on Lavender Lagoon, in the Pre-production Prototypes section, and she was seen in a french toy catalogue by Moonbreeze. Moonbreeze notes her mane colors are different from Puff.
