the life of a sunflower can be seen in these pages. and now the seeds-of-death will be carried with artificial wings to a hot, hot jack jack where they will bloom into new babies of hope and joy. the the life cycle continues. it always continues. common grace.

sunset. empty desk. penelope all packed up, ready to go.  fan. it's been hot these last few nights.

i gave her that pink camera. and then we bought a bottle of yellow fingernail polish and made some changes to its decor as we sat on the blue, blue bay.

taxi rides with mum & papa.  sometimes getting to the ferry is worth 10 lira.

turkish coffee & dates.

one more ferryboat ride.

alsancak.  nearly back to normal - new burger place & starbucks has reopened.  only some graffiti on the ground and walls bear witness to what once was.

oreos.  oreos are always worth it.  + bubbles.
