I hope it's not a too stupid question but... How do we do auditions?
It's not a stupid question, but please read through the blog, as this has been answered multiple times! You can audition through the discord server, after private messaging me and asking for the link!
If I want to audition for someone, do I message you, or do I have to be on the discord server? (Because I’dhave to make a Discord)
You have to be in the discord server to audition! That is where auditions happen, so let me know when you make a discord!
I'm super anxious about joining but I've been thinking about it for a while and I'm wondering if we can app for multiple characters, and if any of the characters know eachother in this au? Would they just all be peers or even go to the same highschool? or is it up to everyone who currently has a blog in this au?
You can only apply for one character, as you have to go through auditions for that character! But yes, the characters do know each other, albeit vaguely. All the characters go to the same school, and some are even in the same classes, but the people in charge of those characters are responsible for forming close relationships with other characters by sending asks to each other or planning things together!
how accurate to canon backstory do the characters have to be? for example, must kirumi be a maid who serves people of high status such as the president, or can she be a normal maid? does maki have to grow up in an orphanage? is it up to us or..?
The characters are normal high school students in this AU, so they don't have talents or anything of the sort! It is up to the person behind the character to create the backstory, however. there might be references to their talents or in game personality, but apart from that, they are just normal kids living everyday life. For example, Kirumi would not be a maid, but she might like cleaning or cooking for others.
Not really a question but for anyone who is nervous to join the discord because the “because the mods are dicks” ask I think they more or less want to keep in friendly and are ready to step in if someone steps out of line if that makes sense? But overall they’re super friendly!

what are the qualification for us to become kage member
If you mean joining as a character, you have to go through auditions first. You have to be able to run an ask blog, post at least once a week, and be active in the discord server as well. You would find out more in the server and in auditions.
If you mean just joining the server, then as long as you follow the rules, then you can join! Just joining the server is a lot more casual than auditioning for a character.

Yes! The discord server isn't made for auditioning, it's just something that happens there! If you want to join, auditioning or not, private message me! And I'm one of the betas, there's four of us and I'm the one who doesn't have a character, thank you for your interest!
What kind of auditions?
The basics of auditioning is that we will ask for certain things from you. Art of the character, a roleplay paragraph, and a description of the shadow. You will find out more if you decide to audition.
how often do people get rejected? Is there much competition for characters? Also if you get in do you have to be in touch with other members of the kage au? Sorry im wayyyy too shy to ask any of this in priv but i adore your au and would maybe want to be a part of it ^^
Oh thank you! Well, there are auditions for each character, and the amount of people depends on which character it is. Auditions will be held and then the four betas will discuss and decide on who, if anyone, gets the character. And yes, being active in the discord server is extremely important! You need to communicate with the other characters as well as everyone else in the server. Thank you very much for asking!

Well, if you have a problem with some of the mods, you can always message me and tell me what is wrong or what is bothering you. We apologise for anything that has happened, but we do not have bad intentions. We only want what is best for the project and everyone involved.
why is everyone leaving ;^;
Personal reasons, or not being able to manage an ask blog and do everything we need them to do. They may not be in a great place, therefore an ask blog would be a lot of stress.
