What is Project Pinata?

Project Pinata is run by two people on a mission to archive digital references for the original Viva Pinata game. We were inspired to start this project due to the lack of reference photos online. We thought "why don't we take some screenshots and upload them for other people to use?".

The project itself isn't just about archiving references, but also about drawing all the pinatas and variants in our own journal. Progress of the artwork will be posted here along with the screenshots, but you can find only the artwork on our Instagram.

Each post of the pinatas is bound to change and be updated as more screenshots are taken. This master post will also be updated as the project grows.

hey there! Do you guys play Viva Pinata on a PC emulator by chance? Id like to start doing so but have never done emulators, torrents, etc before. My tech savvy bf will be looking into it for me hehe but I just found this blog and thought to ask!

Hi! We in fact DO use an emulator! We downloaded the game off of a website called "retrogames.com". It plays the same but you can only really have one save file and the quality is a little worse. It makes it a lot easier to take screenshots too lol
