Its still in early development due to us not having the free time to work on it

*KICKS DOWN DOOR* Its time for a brief update. So my art style has been doing backflips and the inconsistency drives me up a wall. I’ve been reluctant to post anything because I’ve basically stripped the game bare (or BEAR haha oh jokes) trying to fight with my art because its hard to make a game aesthetically pleasing when your character art keeps changing or your map style suddenly switches, and its mostly because as I’ve been working on this I’ve been improving at both programming and art so as i improve naturally things change, even just looking at these new sketches verses the old character art. But it kind of throws me out of my work flow because naturally i want things to be perfect and consistant for you guys!

its in a slow crawl of a state, but its moving again ;u;

What are your most favorite and least favorite parts in making your game?

I love coming up with stories. I love having my characters and world come to life. Thus i absolutely love designing the maps thats my favorite part. 

As for least favorite part, event scripting. It takes me forever to get things working properly. I have to redo scripts all the time to fix bugs in the game and its tedious.

Pretender: Breathe 1

Here it is boys and girls the first part of the game in novel form. 

Some of you were getting impatient about the game itself. Mostly about the plot. This is the games story I had written this intending to release it as an anthology after the game But as I have to keep delaying the games progress I am releasing the first few bits of this early. I had to have it proofread and beta read before I could post it anywhere. Its divided into three separate parts. Breathe, Suffocate, and Drown. Each having to do with endings. Enjoy.

((Okay, does anyone else think it is a coincidence that all of Traumerei’s characters have been killed with fire? At least Yellow got burned like Annabelle. ^^;))

Hey guys long time no update! The game is still happening! Don't you guys worry! I work 4 jobs at the moment and have been riddled with health issues! Coding and redoing all the graphics for the game is a slow slow process. (Im sure your tired of hearing that from me) So for those of you who wanted to know the story and cant wait i offer an alternative i have some small comic strips and pretty much a whole novel written about the story of the game. I had planned on releasing these after the game was finished but seeming as how you guys have been so lovely and patient i may release a new snippet every couple of weeks on a separate blog. I love you guys -vex
