Paper Airplane Took Me Away

They stayed overhead, above the clouds

They peeked at the ground below and see tiny ants wondering around

They float near skylines, taking in the extravagant view

They see silhouettes of slowing floating through the sky

They felt alive for the first time

They rushed through my window, circling me like butterflies in a sunday morning

They carried me away to somewhere called home

They wonder where that is, but they keep on floating in the skies.

Poetry: The Dream

I enjoy poetry. I find it intresting that an individual could write all their thoughts on a piece of paper and create a story through their lovely canvas. I dream to write stories of my past and of my future. To tell where I was when the world began to float away. To tell when I felt alone. To tell how I found love. To tell how I made people smile. But for now, I begin my journey into the world of imagination and hope. I hope you guys enjoy my poems. I welcome you aboard, ProjectSail.         -Marlon
