With This is Sigma, what was your inspiration for the lore of that world? It really reminds me of this tv show called Greek that I loved when I was younger. I love this fic though, I think I read it a few times a month since you first published it! Xx

omg I remember that show 💀 but the lore came from a haunted sorority house on my uni campus lol I had a friend who was part of that sorority and she gave us the hot goss on the ghostie encounters. it isn't the exact lore of the tis world but it definitely helped inspire the rumor aspect. everything else, I just sort of made up after some hefty thinking HSNSJ

ironically I was watching a j&j podcast rerun when I got her upload notification and I will say, as someone who was in already in a cloudy space when she announced her decision, I cried a lot upon hearing she may not come back. her actions are inexcusable, but the apology itself is not even remotely mine to accept. however, the comment I will make is this: her character and her willingness to speak out and expose herself of such actions speaks louder than the words of other (grown) youtubers who react to their problematic "past" with tantrums and deflection and lack of accountability. I also think instead of directing our upset towards her conscious decision to leave, we should consider why her actions have affected so many and understand why she's choosing this path. I've seen a lot of people try to invalidate the upset of those who are personally affected by the offensive content she's now removed, and I think that's honestly more concerning than her departure. the fact is: she hurt people by being insensitive in past content, and no matter how upset fans are by her leaving, that doesn't give them a right to debate "it wasn't even that bad, now you've canceled her and it's your fault" and that mindset alone needs to stop when it comes to offensive material

I'm saddened by her decision because a majority of us will miss her greatly, but ultimately it was her decision to make. I just hope she'll still be around to give us podcast content and the occasional julien's kitchen cameo. I know she's probably in a bad spot right now and the choice wasn't easy, but she has a continued vast amount of support through those outlets

List of positives to come out of the recent protests as of June 4:

- George Floyd’s murderer charged with murder and manslaughter, then had charges increased, then the officers that watched it happen were charged with aiding and abetting

- Louisville police (Breonna Taylor’s murderers) department will now be under review from an outside agency, which will include review on training, bias-free policing and accountability. (Unfortunately her killers have still not faced charges yet as far as I could find.)

- Charges are to be dropped for Kenneth Walker

- Atlanta has announced plans to create a task force + public database to track police brutality in metro Atlanta area

- Minneapolis city council members are considering disbanding police force in favor of a “community-oriented, nonviolent public safety and outreach capacity”

- Colorado lawmakers have introduced an incredible police reform bill that includes body cam laws, repealing the “fleeing felon” statute, banning chokeholds, and more

what can you commission? - all original prompts are ok (member x reader / member x member) - more chapters of any drabble series, so Moonlit Throne or Tonight (though you will be able to dictate the contents of the latter vs. not at all for the former) - snippets from a fic’s universe after its ending (eg. MotH Wedding Day) - POV switches of scenes from previous stories - smut / fluff / angst is all OK - a story talk: my explaining of my thought processes behind any fic - i’m open to pretty much anything unless it breaks canon for my fic universes!!!

hello friends, I have seen many writers on this site offer commissions in exchange for donations in the past week. I would also like to do something of similar. However, instead of commissions, I thought it would be nice to do another drabble series as it will allow me to get content out to you more quickly. If you can collectively raise $75 and donate to any of the organizations found here blacklivesmatter.carrd.co , I will not only match the total donation, but I will write and post a 15 part drabble series or two 10 part series. When you donate, please send me a screenshot in my submissions and I’ll tally up the donations. Once we hit $75 in total, I will begin releasing the content. Any donation counts! Even if it’s only $1. if you’re unable to donate, that is okay too. do what you cant to support.
