There's nothing wrong with gay men embracing masculinity. Being gay doesn't hinder you from becoming a real man, a man of strength and courage. Your gayness is largely irrelevant when it comes to becoming a better man.
Don't let "the community" tell you that rejecting femininity is "toxic masculinity", or "patriarchal", or "internalized homophobia"; they're the ones with internalized homophobia, since they spread the homophobic idea that "gays aren't real men".
Only a homophobe sees gayness as the opposite of masculinity.
