actually, speaking of pokemon, i was talking about a pokemon verse for Niki, and i figured they’d probably have af few psychic types. i like the idea of them having a Xatu tbh. also maybe a chimecho?? that seems like the kind of pokemon they’d like.

with sleep comes glimpses of the future, real enough to grasp, but with no way to alter. they watch quietly, accepting of what is to come, voice too small, too weak to make an impact, to change things that could affect the world. they can save themself, and no more.

it was surreal, the deviation from the vision they had seen the day before. SHE wasn't part of it, and the monstrous being that had caused what they knew was going to happen wasn't a part of it, and yet they had shown up anyway. for a moment, they wonder what would have happened if she hadn't been here, but instead force themself away from that. they might as well ask,
