I've been feeling quite indifferent about my birthday this year as I approach my dirty thirty. I tried to hide my feelings by masking it with humor. But I was reminded that reaching thirty is a blessing that should be celebrated especially when so many don't make it to see thirty.

Anyway the point is to don't take things for granted especially your birthday!

while scrolling the web i came across a quote by rupi kaur on instagram and, it said: “never feel guilty for starting again.” i’ve been putting it off for a while now, out of fear but i’ve finally decided to do just that, i am starting over...with a clean slate in a new state.
