Good Neighbor || Kun De & Delilah
kun-ge:
He rolled his cart into another aisle thinking over everything he might need again and looking over everything he’d already gotten. Sprinkles, he needed more sprinkles. There was a lady blocking the sprinkles though and she… was carrying way too many items. He smiled in amusement – he’s pretty sure he knew what happened.
He left his cart for a bit and went to get a basket near the cashiers, he came back with the lady in the same position. Kun De offered the basket to her, smiling kindly, “Got a little carried away with the baking supplies I assume?” He noted the almond flour on the floor and picked it up before placing it into the basket. “I know the feeling.”
Delilah almost dropped her armful as she jumped, startled at the new voice. When she saw the basket in the newcomer’s hand, though, the surprise was replaced with pure relief. “Ah, thank you!” She said, hurriedly unloading the goods into the basket with a great sigh. She winced as some of the items clanked loudly against each other -those must have been the cake pans and tin molds -but upon peering into the basket, she found nothing damaged.
“Thank you so much,” She said again, smiling gratefully at the man as she took the basket from him. “I just got so excited, I really should have taken a basket with me -but I wasn’t supposed to need it! I was just getting a bit of whipping cream and -ah.” Delilah flushed, looking embarrassed. “S-sorry. I’m babbling. I’m Delilah -what’s your name?”
