The trip into Nanaki’s home was as eventful as always. Which was never. The comment about the steps was shared, despite the fact that Vincent could in fact fly with Chaos’ power. 

“You know I have no need to eat or drink, but thank you regardless. I will at least be this courteous.” And he took a glass to fill with water. The water was quite refreshing in Cosmo Canyon, after all.

“Hm. Yes. I am quite aware. But does that mean you never want to eat or drink? Does nothing have taste or something of that nature?” He was probably sounding a bit rude, but he did not mean to at all.

“Anyway.” Nanaki jumped onto a pile of pillows and sat down on them. “What have you been up to? According to the others you never show your face around Midgar, and you and I only meet up once a year, so you have to be doing something during the rest of the year.”

Well that was a change. Everyone he met seemed to find it their business to lecture him on his health. He exhaled another cloud of smoke before answering him.

“Tifa.” The brunette was always giving him an evil side-eye when he smoked or cursed or tried to breath. Of course she was also always helpful when he needed it but she didn’t hesitate to go off on him either. “Hey, hey, I thought you weren’t goin’ to give a fuckin’ lecture? I’m a grown ass man, I can take care of myself.”

“Hm. Tifa. I see. That does not surprise me in the slightest. The only other person I would have guessed would have been Marlene. But, with that said it does not matter all that much.” He nodded a bit, before his eye widened a bit at Cid’s comment about the lecture.

“Wait when did I....?” He cut his own comment off as he thought for a minute on the words he had just said. “Oh. It seems I did give you a lecture after all. My apologies on that. Anyway, I am glad to see you. Do you still fly your airship around?” He did have something to say about his comment about how he coudl take care of himself, but he’d save that for later.
