Black Hat is a frightening and powerful entity for sure, but White’s unending amount of courage and sense of general responsibility helps quite a lot in cases like this one. He smiles, instead.

  “I never took you for someone who’d underestimate his enemies, Mr. B. Clemencia is a very capable young woman, are you certain it’s not yours the one who is in trouble?” A bit of a poke-back, truthfully; the creature can’t particularly let the other have the upper hand in these conversations.

  “That’s new. I’ve never been referred to as a bad influence before.” The smile’s returned to his facial features once more, especially at the other’s use of his real name. He chuckles lightly at the affectionate kiss.

  “Speaking of sugar... I was about to head out and buy some sweet food. Would you like to come with? Or for me to get you anything?”
