Akihiko knocks on Miki's door "Miki. Could you open up for a moment?" he asks, sounding a bit stern
"Eh? Is something wrong, Aki?" Miki went to open the door.
"Just as long as you took the precautionary measures" he says "Otherwise no, its not a problem. I know Shinji wouldn’t dare to hurt you, but I still worry" he smiles a bit "It’s my duty as a brother."
"Don’t worry, I have. I don’t do something without being fully prepared, I assure you," she promised him. "And if Shinji ever did hurt me, well, I’d make sure to let you have first dibs on him, then it’d be my turn. I do appreciate the concern, though."
"And thanks for returning these," Miki held her shoes up. "This is one of only two pairs of heels I have. I hate wearing the damn things, but sometimes, you just need them."
He chuckles “I’m sure Shinji loves seeing you in them. He’s actually smiling again. I can hardly believe it.”
"It is nice to see Mr. Doom and Gloom to crack a smile once more. He’s acting more like his old self…" she found herself smiling as well. "I’d of never thought that all it’d take was a nice dress, some heels, and saying what was in my heart."
"I don’t know who’s luckier anymore: him or me. Though I suppose the answer is you; with him happy and me occupied, you’re free now to do something other than box, and no, I do not mean drink more protein shakes."
"H-Hey" he blushes and pouts at the accusation "I don't just box and drink protein shakes you know."
