Everybody Loves Raymonde
In a dream last night, I started a Cocteau Twins cover band called Everybody Loves Raymonde. #everybodylovesraymonde #cocteautwins
I’ve listened to the Smiths and they’re really really sad. The Smiths are sadder than Death Cab. #girlssayatcoffeeshops
Wasp Spray
My mom bought me wasp spray because it’s basically equivalent to mace. #girlssayatcoffeshops
Oh, cool.
Simon Raymonde edited one of my submissions on discogs.com.
...threw the first track from Orbs up on Soundcloud. It’s the Orb of Anger.
Pay-what’err-you-want! Orbs for download, son.
I have some new music up. Check out the mini-album “Orbs” here: https://prototaph.bandcamp.com/album/orbs

I love this. WHAT IT IS
This track on Blackbird Cathedral's "In the Eaves" was, in truth, the first Prototaph composition. Its conception was based on the (imagined) idea of life and sound at the bottom of an ocean and was mostly soft layers of improvised sound-design. I think the dark, ambient nature of the track fit in perfectly with the vision and direction of BbC, but it was a solo effort on my part and we never (yet) tried to reproduce it in a live setting as a band. Who knows, it may yet see additional life at some point. In any case, I've always loved the distorted rumblings and electronic twinkles--and especially the garbled cassette tape vocals at the end.

I like that you can ask WolframAlpha whatever you want, like how many slices of pumpernickel it would take to equal the mass of the earth.
Hey, a couple of these pencils, right?
Hogwash. What is this, the future? Next you're gonna tell me they're selling nuclear submarines down at Costco. Hogwash. Can you imagine the price of that data plan? Hogwash. 2011? Hogwash. Just wait until the Singularity gets ahold of Twitter's handle and starts tweeting "mashed potato sculptures" from the moon. Hogwash.
