The thing with the whole nmecha situation is that, if they did everything the same, except if nmecha would've actually said sth along the lines of :

"what I posted was ignorant of me, I realise now that I should never have reposted this. I apologise to everyone who felt hurt and offended by my actions. I hope that you will give me a chance to show you all that I have learned from my past actions...."

I would've maybe been open to giving him a chance. But my main issue still stands with him pretending he didn't know that shit was homophobic or transphobic and that it got taken out of context. That's just weak. And not a real apology and not owning up to your own mistakes. And I don't think i can really give someone a chance when they can't even own up to their own mistakes.
