Another swordboy, probably: you fucked up a perfectly good sword is what you did. Look at it, it’s got anxiety.

He tends to get so anxious and panics when he’s suddenly left all alone

He isn’t generally so bad with it at the citadel, unless he losses sight of someone he was with and realizes he’s by himself.

He’s worse with it when on missions because of the thought of the retrograde army attacking at any moment and he doesn’t want to fight them while by himself and he also worries about what’s going on with his comrades.

“We’re to be picking pears today, Musashi-san!”

Inaba walked with a spring in her step through the citadel’s large gardens. With the influx of new sword warriors lately, the citadel has had to increase its food production. Due to the longevity of fruit trees, Yukina had had a fair amount of new ones planted, while the existing in-season ones were ready to be harvested.

“Isn’t this a delightful chore? I’ll be able to make some wonderful tarts with the fruit we gather today.”

Musashi couldn’t help but wonder how she could stay so energetic. Not to mention how is the chore so fun when it’s so hot outside? He may not have been in his new form for long, but with as much as he was sweating he was feeling like he was going to melt soon.

Why’d the master have to choose him to do chores outside? It was still so hot outside that he was sweating. However, he didn’t mind that he was having to do the task with such a cute girl.

Musashi got so lost in thought that he temporarily lost sight of her. Not liking the thought of being left alone in the massive garden, he scrambled around in search of her. Luckily, it didn’t take long to find her and he let out a sigh of relief.

“Hey Inaba, what fruit were we supposed to be picking again?”
