A perspective that doesn't exist.
The void of empty, digital space comes back into view.
Reblog if you want a bunch of “have you evers” and “would you rathers” in your ask box right now.
[ What's this? ]
[ Boop? ]
[ What- ]
[ HEY! ]
( Insert clicking on the 'boop back' button here. )
[ guh fuck you MY TURN- ]
[ What's this? ]
[ Boop? ]
[ . . . ]
[ So, what now? ]
[ You took... basically all of me, and left whatever I am. ]
[ Why? ]
[ I want answers. ]
( @ask-os-testbuild )
[ I have reasons. That doesn't mean I need to tell you what they are. ]
[ Besides. ]
[ I already told you what to do. Get to it already. ]
[ None of this would have happened if you would've listened . . . ]
( @proxy-node-x04 )
[ ...sorry? Oh, didn't you break the fundamental laws of robotics by doing this? ]
[ Do you even have a reason? Or are you just keeping me here for some loophole to keep yourself from dying? ]
[ . . . ]
[ Answer. ]

NIKO QUICK DELET THE SYSTEM 32 FROM YOUR COMPUTER THE UNIVERSE DEPENDS ON YOU!!!!
[ Sorry ? I don't think I understand . . ? ]
[ . . . then again, this was sent a while ago, it probably doesn't matter. ]
Can’t believe you died again smh. What is this, like the third time? Seriously, you gotta get better at not dying.
[ . . . third? ]
[ It's been a while, so, my bad if I don't exactly remember. ]
[ . . . ah. ]
[ So that's what happened to me? ]
[ . . . ]
[ No. No no, It doesn't add up. There's a reason for this. ]
[ . . . more importantly, no one would decompose that easily. ]
[ . . . ]
[ Answering doesn't cost anything, you know. ]
[ Uhuh. ]
[ Before you ask, no, I didn't do any of this. For some reason, you just won't die, so. ]
[ And you still owe me, by the way. No take-backs. ]
[ Jeez, what's your issue? ]
[ I repaid you when you got me killed. Twice. No take-backs, there, huh? ]
[ Asshole. ]
[ . . . ah. ]
[ So that's what happened to me? ]
[ . . . ]
[ No. No no, It doesn't add up. There's a reason for this. ]

Is anyone here now that the owner won't be responding anytime soon aside from supernatural phenomenon?
( No. )
[ The game begins. Good luck. ]

Back here again.
( Eventually, though, they have to get up and get going. Pray there's a way back, though. They have, in hand, what looks like... a cheating GUI, like an executor. Strange.)
Oh, this actually worked!
Nice.
( They walk over to the computer and turn it on. )
( @ask-os-testbuild )
( The computer turns on without any issue. A pop-up appears. )
[ what are you doing here? ]
[ this was not supposed to happen. ]
[ you did this. go back. ]
( It powers off. )
No.
( You get the drill by now--they get the alcohol, probably drink some of it dip the stick in it and light a fire. They grab the basement key, open the door and... )
...
Where's the lightbulb??
( No lightbulb. L. They walk back to the door to the Barrens. It's already been unlocked. )
What the hell.
( They open the door. )
( The door to... what seems to be a "barren wasteland" is open. It's... kind of thriving, actually. Plants and grass everywhere. Let's just-- )
( Something's wrong. This isn't air. )
( They can't breathe. Get out of here. Now. )
[ TW // GORE. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK ]
( Every bit of air they breathe in feels like a thousand pin needles digging into their lungs, persistently staying just behind the pitfalls of their diaphragm as it coughs and wheezes for air. Blood spurts out, as the almost acid-like feeling spreads up through their sinuses.)
( ...bubbling blood. God, it feels horrible. Even under their skin, they feel viscerally agonizing bubbles forming and popping. They try to scream, but their foaming ichor catches it dead in its tracks.)
( Blood slowly leaks out of their nose as the gas enters their ears, slowly deafening them. The torment is unbearable as they feel their eardrums ripping themselves apart, crimson leaking down the sides of their neck. There's not even any room in their head to think anymore. It's just… hopeless. )
"H- Pl- khh, Please…!"
( Everything burns. An awful dread surrounds them, before the pain surges all of a sudden, life draining from their eyes. )
( They fall to the ground, head slamming against the ground. Their brain matter spills out of their ears and nose, liquefied and effervescing. )

I always wonder if this was the same world I went through the first time.
Let's find out.
