this is such a classic meme that its a bit like seeing an old schoolmate. i recently discovered the source image from a rulebook published in 2003 so this meme is probably older than some of my followers. but this is one of the first 40k memes, along with kharn is a swell guy, metal bawkses, and armless abaddon.

i also think it's good parenting to humor your kid with respect to a lot of stupid bullshit. I'm personally opposed to organized religion and veganism and the military and wouldn't be shy about these opinions around my own kids if I had any, but if I had a kid who wanted to convert to some religion or stop eating animal products I'd assume they'll outgrow it in two weeks so long as I don't give them any excuse to rebel. If they want to sign up to kill innocent foreigners on behalf of Uncle Sam they're going to get locked in the basement and fed gruel however. It's important to draw the line where it actually matters
