After failing the UA entrance exam in spectacular fashion, Izuku Midoriya spent the beginning of his high school career obsessively filling out hero notebooks, each one being filled with incredibly detailed notes and strategies based around UA’s recently accepted students, all in a desperate attempt to find a way into the program. Near the end of his first year, a fellow student discovered a recently completed notebook on one of UA’s 1-A students. Paying 2000 yen, the student proceeded to use the strategies designed against the student, ending with an altercation that put the UA student into the hospital. By the time of graduation, Midoriya- referred to by his notebook’s pen name, “Deku”- was a known name in underground villain circles. His notebooks sell for upwards of 200,000 yen, and supposedly even more from heroes trying to get a notebook destroyed. Rumor has it that several hero agencies have approached him for notebooks on other villains, but all major agencies have vehemently denied such allegations. The knowledge that Deku is quirkless is widespread, but no one is willing to attack him, out of fear of retribution by his more common customers, and by the fear of having his next notebook made of them. He is willing to reimburse any villain on the purchase of Bakugo Katsuki’s notebook, on the premise that they “use the information successfully”. No one has yet succeeded, and supposedly it is the only notebook with “incorrect” data. A notebook on All Might remains perpetually unfinished on his desk. He refuses to sell it.

I like the idea of ruining good characters with edgy AUs apparently. 

I tried to implement his normal hero outfit into a snazzier (but still objectively stupid looking) vest-type outfit. 

I plan to do a second (and possibly third) one with other UA students I feel could have turned to villainy under the right circumstance (particularly knowing that Deku isn’t in the hero course), and there’s a relatively obvious hint as to who’s next in the piece.
