WELCOME TO SCENIC ISOLA RADIALE
Welcome...to Scenic...Isola Radiale?
The panic at the pit of her stomach remains there. The confusion on her face is what prompts one of the residents here to explain everything. They're careful, slow, and cautious. They introduce themselves first, then say something about Lionheart, which she has NO idea about whatsoever.
Disoriented, Hyuna finds herself stepping back, but doesn't run.
She thinks she's said thank you, but doesn't know. Everything is sound off; she can't hear anything. Just sees this person's mouth move.
Eventually, this person--this Lionheart person--takes her to her residence. Apparently, there are these vehicles that take you to the place of accommodation, but if you wanted to opt out of being driven by them, a Lionheart agent? Would help you out instead. Some of them, apparently, according to this person, are just like her. They, too, arrive at first confused. They aren't native to this place.
That is what she learned.
And it takes a while for Hyuna to adapt to this new and strange place.
She was supposed to be dead. She was dead. There was no way around that fact.
She isn't alone here. By not alone, she means there are others from her world. Mizi, Till, Ivan....and shortly not long after, even Sua. They are all here. She knows it isn't her fault, but for some reason she feels she needs to take responsibility. In the end, if she were fast enough---STRONG enough, she could have saved these kids from their fate. Especially Till and especially Ivan. Sua, too. Mizi wouldn't be grief-stricken, worried, and so...so...so unbearably sad.
But maybe here? Here, just maybe they can start over and learn to be happy? Just maybe.
Party time....Party all night long.
Some habits just doesn't go away. It's so much more fun when you're out with other people, mingling, having a blast, and drinking away!
Truth be told? It's painful when she's alone in her own thought. She's always reminded...always reminded without fail of the past. Of everything that's transpired back in the Anakt Garden. Everything that's happened since and after.
The sun is bright. The sandy beach is hot. Back home, there isn't anything like it. The wide open sea, the sand against her feet. She's alone in her thoughts, but she's out in public. She lays, enjoying the sun, or at least trying to. If there's one good thing she's good at (she's good at MANY things), it's pretending that everything is okay.
She huffs out how confusing this place is.
The day? Well, it ends with her laughing her ass off because someone had gotten his ice cream sandwich stolen by a seagull. She's made a friend. He reminds her Hyun-woo. Just like Till. It hurts, but she laughs, and at least for that moment--for that day, the pain doesn't hit until the night.
Party time. Party all night long. Party all night until the next day.
Who's going to know? WHO'S GOING TO STOP SOMEONE WHO'S HAVING SO MUCH FUN?
He remembers everything. Remembers her final words. It was easier to say those things. Those last words were her final words, because at least she wouldn't have to face him. Another thing she's good at? Running away from her problem. Running away from her one and only weakness. Disgusting, filthy, VILE.
Hey? Don't you hate him? How can you still...
Filthy. Vile. Disgusting.
You even say Let's try again. Why would you? Why would you try again with someone like that? You're pathetic. Pathetic and disgusting.
But wasn't the right step in learning to love and live to help? To hold out your hand and go through the journey together?
Fuck...Fuck...What have I gotten myself into?
It was much easier when those final words on stage were just that. She meant every word of it, but it was so much easier to let him hear those words. For him to feel WHAT she's felt the whole time without Hyun-Woo. Her baby brother.
Ah, now she's here and Luka's here.
I'm not going anywhere...
Bottles upon bottles are all scattered in her bedrooom floor. They used to be everywhere, but...well, she doesn't live alone. Her room is a complete mess. Beer bottles, glass bottles, shot glasses, cigarettes, ashes...As long as she keeps her door closed, she shouldn't have to worry about anyone else that moves in this place.
She feels she's spiraling out of control. She feels she may be losing her sense of self, but----
Hey. That may be the case, but another thing you're good at is TRUCKING ON.
Being on stage with Till, singing your heart out and being his hope when he falls to the ground is proof of that. You'll do whatever you can to make sure that you stand by them or in front of them to protect them.
Even if things are difficult. Even if you party, party all night, and drown yourself in sorrow.....
you just have to get through these obstacles with everyone.
