    “ li’e what?”  she’s curious now. there’s a man-wolf loose in the woods,but she won’t be scareed || it’s not gonna hurt her.

               jill looks at this stranger, face curious. there’s a howl.

he hands her the bracelet, standing up straighter now. “i’ve only died once.. i don’t think i’d make a good meal, pumpkin.”

                                  wolf man or not, hara was planning on dying tonight.

“I’d been hoping I’d be fortunate enough not to run into anybody. It makes things much more tedious if I’m being honest. Just the fact that I have to stand here and explain myself is taxing enough.”

After all it his record shop, his club, and his home she’s broken into. His territory and boy was he a territorial man. Once it was his is was his forever.

      “ you’re seti’s brother aren’t you?”  she’s a right CLIMBER, she is—-lithe, moving over the table && going to peer at his face, cocking her head && nodding.

                                      “ you look like ‘im. only a lot nicer.”

he’s careful to lift her off the table, frowning at her slightly. at least she wasn’t touching his face everywhere and at least this time he didn’t get a flash of her furture.

                   “and if i lied and said i wasn’t his brother? what would you have done?”

i did all but two drafts and those ones are pretty long but hara just kind dropped down and out. i got three in the queue and i’m gonna check back soon.

i’m here and doing replies but i’m gonna make this blog semi-active and on a semi-hiatus because i spend a lot of time on cadcvre. he’s my main muse and as much as i’d like hara to be my main man, he isn’t.

Her French accented voice came out a little more forcefully ( and with more annoyance ) than she might have otherwise liked but she really did need an answer. “Is there another band playing with you? One with a little blonde man as the lead singer, with a big voice?”

“Another band? Not that I know of. Figured it’d be like usual, just me. I’m the band.” He stands up now, looking at her with the remains of a smile on his lips.

“The little blonde sounds familiar though, he your boyfriend or something?” His accent is a mixture of travel, fluctuating too much to get a handle on where he might be from.

“Is that right?” Was that supposed to deter her? “Doesn’t matter. I’m afraid I didn’t come here for you.”

“Ain’t you though? I’d love to know who you thought was gonna be in here this time of night, ma’am.” It wasn’t supposed to deter her, but of late he’s been trying to stay away from folks.

                                                But he’d been to get ones on his hands when he                                                 was thirteen, and the tattoo on his left wrist had                                                 been there since he was a toddler. Ma’at’s name                                                 was inscribed on his cheeks when he turned                                                 fifteen, and the hieroglyphics for “necropolis” had                                                 been scrawled on his forehead when he turned                                                 twenty-five, becoming chieftain. The rest were                                                 gradually added as time passed.

“You’re very welcome, my friend. I find it very nice to see hieroglyphs on fellow Eygptians. So much better than seeing some nineteen year old American wearing an ankh on her shoulder because it looks neat.”

Hara had few tattoos and for once he wasn’t so sure he should keep them covered up. Still, he made no move to strip off his jacket.

     jill’s eyes are owlish as she looks to him, face bright, yet dark && it’s clear she has no intent on following his demands || what did HE know?

       “ i live ‘ere. now, ya gonna start runnin’ or ya wanna be eaten?”

“ ‘cause he’s hungry? how about because you did something bad? i haven’t done shit to jack. “

he knows better than this but now he kneeling slightly, digging through his pockets for a bracelet heket had returned to him.

“ if i give yah somethin’ real pretty can you help me? “

i’m really tired but i’m here and i’m alive. i had a nice birthday and now i’m gonna do drafts on here, on captaiinperoxiide, and then spend the rest of my day on gentlemcncorpse.

i forgot to post this here, but my birthday is tomorrow so i’m going on a mini hiatus until saturday. you guys don’t have to do anything nice for me or even send me birthday wishes but they’re appreciated if you do so.
