so i like this guy , right ? okay , the problem is he’s 3 years older than me . i just started highschool about 3 months ago , but about 4 weeks before that i started “summer band” , which is basically band camp that everyone in band and colorguard (im in colorguard and i play an instrument with the band but thats a whole other story) has to attend before football/contest season starts. there , i met a boy . his name is bailey , and boy let me tell you about this fine guyyy . when i first saw him i didnt really think anything of it , as i was wayy to nervous for my first highschool experience to be worrying about boys . but when i finally became comfortable with my new environment and people i would possibly be spending the rest of my freshman year with , we were already on the second week of camp . the first time i actually acknowledged his existence was on a day we call “band olympics” . its where all the different sections in band (trumpets , tubas, drumline, clarinets, melephones, colorguard etc.) compete against eachother to win games . oh also, did i mention he’s a senior AND HE’S FIRST ASSISTANT DRUM MAJOR , that’s a really BIG DEAL! anyway , so he was trying to learn all of the freshmans names . and that was the moment i knew that this funny , cute , most adorable guy i have ever seen was gonna be the one who has my heart . let me describe my future husband right quick, okay so he had bright baby blue eyes , which i like to call “bailey blue” when referring to them , he also has dark chocolate brown hair . and im not gonna lie he isnt the thinnest drum major but he sure is the sweetest and most popular . woah , he literally is the cutest thing ive ever seen in my life. so at one point in our show , i stand right in front of where he conducts and i always end up messing up or something dumb like that cause he always distractes me . bailey is really popular with everyone in band so im pretty sure he hardly ever thinks about me that way even though were pretty good friends . i wish he would think of me that way , but also i wish my heart and mind would get over him because he’s about to turn 18 and im gonna be 15 so that just wouldnt be legall. and next year he’s gonna be away at college anyway so it’s not like i’ll ever see him again most likely . my parents are totally fine with me likeing him because they know i have no chance . 💀 but im really gonna miss him , not just because i like him but as a friend and someone who i look up to in band. even though we were never really close , and hardly ever talk , imma miss him alot. and i know he’s a smart guy and one day he’s gonna find someone who he loves and who loves him . and i just want the best for him. anyway , wish me luck with the rest of my highschool career , guys.
