Amy Adams as Sydney Prosser in American Hustle (2013)
"I was broke, fearless, with nothing to lose. And my dream, more than anything, was to become anyone else other than who I was."
Give her the gold!
Want her to win the Oscar for this role so bad. She's great, and has never looked greater either.
One of my absolute favorite scenes of the year. Just so fucking good!
Good times, bad times, you know I had my share. American Hustle (2013)
She was the Picasso of passive aggressive karate.
Jennifer Lawrence, “American Hustle” (David O. Russell, 2013).
Best Supporting Actress, baby...
Fuck you Google. I'm not lonely just because I don't wanna participate in your stupid social network. Facebook is dumb enough but it is what it is at this point. Now just let me access my Drive.
I'm watching The Following
“This show solidified itself as truly unique and exceptional network television show with its finale. I was hooked all season- but see it as a fully formed story. They could continue the story if they wanted but as is- wow. What a stunning ending, even though I saw it coming.”

I'm watching Halloween 2
“In the mood for it after seeing 'Lords of Salem' this weekend. This is by far the most downtrodden, ugly and brutal slasher flick I can recall.”

I don't have to tell you things are bad. Everybody knows things are bad. It's a depression. Everybody's out of work or scared of losing their job. The dollar buys a nickel's worth; banks are going bust; shopkeepers keep a gun under the counter; punks are running wild in the street, and there's nobody anywhere who seems to know what to do, and there's no end to it. We know the air is unfit to breathe and our food is unfit to eat. And we sit watching our TVs while some local newscaster tells us that today we had fifteen homicides and sixty-three violent crimes, as if that's the way it's supposed to be! We all know things are bad -- worse than bad -- they're crazy. It's like everything everywhere is going crazy, so we don't go out any more. We sit in the house, and slowly the world we're living in is getting smaller, and all we say is, "Please, at least leave us alone in our living rooms. Let me have my toaster and my TV and my steel-belted radials, and I won't say anything. Just leave us alone." Well, I'm not going to leave you alone. I want you to get mad! I don't want you to protest. I don't want you to riot. I don't want you to write to your Congressman, because I wouldn't know what to tell you to write. I don't know what to do about the depression and the inflation and the Russians and the crime in the street. All I know is that first, you've got to get mad. You've gotta say, "I'm a human being, goddammit! My life has value!"

Were you scared silly? So were we! Thank you for seeing Evil Dead in theaters and for checking-in. Share this one proudly. It's from our friends at Sony Pictures.
Well, that was weird.
3.5 out of 5, I really am very nearly giving this a 4. I think a lot of the negative criticism I’ve read is by people who didn’t really get it. It’s a film meant to make you uncomfortable, meant to make you loathe what you’re watching. It’s about thrills and the “American dream.” And it’s pretty funny when you find yourself in a theater full of people who were expecting… an indulgence in, rather than a critique of, the culture they’re into.
PREACH!! XD Go ahead and give it a 4! lol
