♛ heroes, anti-heroes and evil queens ♕ - mulan (once upon a time)
gothamsfuture:
“it’s not like the g.c.p.d. are any good at controlling the people in this city anyway. not sure WHY they even tried with the curfew.” the penguin explained with a shrug. despite being mayor, it seemed like he had little to do with the curfew decision. “WOW, looks like the crowd is REALLY picking up speed.” oswald commented sarcastically as he took a step forward. “what’s taking them so long?!”
“ well that’s rather UNFORTUNATE. and a bit hypocritical since they seem to want EVERYONE to enforce to the curfew, keep people with special abilities under a watchful eye. and yet they still can’t keep the city safe. but who am i to judge ? i guess that’s just how things ROLL now that there’s another universe that managed to enter, ” betsy commented, with a somewhat understanding nod. “ i’m just dying of excitement because they’re moving so quickly, ” she let out another sigh. “ oh for the love of GOD, what the hell is stopping you lot from MOVING. ”
gothamsfuture:
“UH, you think?” he responded rudely, gesturing towards the group of people blocking the way. “you’d THINK that with the new curfew people would be MOVING as fast as they could at the sight of daylight. but hm, GUESS NOT.” the penguin added, shouting the last bit of the sentence for the group to hear. he shut his eyes and groaned.
“ NO, i obviously couldn’t tell given your tone and rather impatient attitude, ” betsy quipped sarcastically. she let out, yet, ANOTHER sigh as the group barely inched forward. “ i guess not. they’re not afraid of the curfew, which really doesn’t make any sense. but whatever, let’s hope they won’t go crying to the police because someone was at the WRONG place at the wrong time. ”
gothamsfuture:
the penguin made his way through the streets of gotham, pushing past people here and there. he had PLACES to be, after all. he groaned once he saw a group of people just STANDING in the middle of the sidewalk. oswald rolled his eyes, his umbrella hitting the sidewalk with a loud TAP. “REALLY people? i mean, get togethers are sweet and all, but in the MIDDLE of the street? i don’t have time for this! go have this family reunion somewhere else, GEEZ.”
betsy was idly making her way through the streets of gotham. it was no surprise that the telepath thought that the accords served such HINDRANCE to her daily life. living under ‘house arrest’ was not favorable. despite all that, she might as well find SOMETHING to do. she couldn’t help but sigh heavily at the crowd blocking the middle of the sidewalk. she whipped her head around at the sound of the umbrella tapping. “ oi, you’re certainly in quite the MOOD, ” she couldn’t help but comment.
b1llyk4pl4n:
“What if you don’t have any food on hand?”
“ well it’s not that hard to use your mind to whip SOMETHING up. ”
b1llyk4pl4n:
“You don’t have times when you’re feeling so lazy that getting up to get food seems illogical?”
“ not necessarily seeing as i can EASILY levitate food over to my direction. ”
elemxntalhuman:
‘m i s s i n g’ echoed in his head, clearing his thoughts. “I could, I suppose… “ He muttered, thinking about his options. “There’s safe camps now because of the accords that I could go to, take refuge in.” He said a little louder as the idea became concrete in his mind. “And it’s not like I can’t take on other guys from the project, and I’d probably have help from others at the camp! Damn, you’re good at advice!”
“ it’s ONE option out of many, ” she shrugged. “ you could do that. i’m assuming A LOT of people are going to do so. i personally don’t think the accords are going to do us any good –– perhaps to those who are a little bit higher up and just don’t know what to do with individuals who wield more power. ” betsy had to admit, the aspect of the accords was a huge M I S T A K E. “ i’m not that good at advice, you thought of that all on your own, mate. ”
jssicajvnes:
“Not anymore,” Jessica said, waving her camera. “Got all the proof I need. What d’ya know? He was sleeping with the secretary. Case closed,” she said with a shrug. “Turns out private investigation isn’t as glamorous as the movies, but it’s a living.”
“ sleeping with the secretary. sounds like the ultimate cliche in the book, ” she shrugged. “ gotta take any case offered. the tv shows are very MISLEADING. ”
elemxntalhuman:
“It’s really not that simple…” He trailed off thinking about the struggle he would have to go through to break free. “We get abused if we don’t complete a task… they rip pieces of who we are away. Like what they did to Alex, he doesn’t even remember his name anymore, he identifies himself as Heatstroke.”
He realized that he was going to have to make this kill if he wanted to survive with the humanity he had left. “They turned us into weapons and they sure of hell made it hard for us to not be a weapon.”
“ NOTHING is ever that simple, ” she merely commented. for a moment, she couldn’t help but flash back to her time with the horsemen of the apocalypse. oh how easily manipulated she’d been. “ sounds like the perfect opportunity for you to go m i s s i n g if that’s the case. ” as much as she could try and reason with the male about morality, she was never the one to express that much sympathy.
elemxntalhuman:
“I can’t do this anymore! I can’t be their pawn! Th-they wan’t me to kill someone; I can’t do that…”
“ then DON’T, ” she stated bluntly. to some level, she could sympathize with the male. all those times she joined various groups for a simple cause, oh how WRONG she was.
b1llyk4pl4n:
“Sometimes you just don’t feel like going to get real food.” He said with a shrug.
“ that has got to be the most illogical thing i’ve ever heard. ” and she had heard A LOT.
jssicajvnes:
Jessica reached over and roughly shoved the girl farther to the left. “I’ll survive if I get this picture,” she muttered, snapping her lens on the cheating husband across the street. She turned back to the girl with a flourish. “Now you can stand wherever you damn well please.”
betsy rolled her eyes and as she was roughly shoved aside. she turned her head towards the direction her camera was pointed at. “ looks like you’ve got one HELL of a case, ” she couldn’t help but comment sarcastically. THAT was what was so important ?
outlawrxbin:
jason swaggered down the street, complete with his leather jacket and an expression etched in his features that screamed he was ready to punch anyone who would look at him wrongly. Though in reality, he was listening to fergalicious by fergie through his headphones. not paying much attention on his path, jason stepped on a bottle and stumbled onto the ground. ❝ who the fuck littered? it’s fucking illegal, idiots, ❞ jason exclaimed to no one in particular as he got up.
betsy made her way down the streets, it was UNSETTLING how much of a difference gotham was in comparison to new york. she sipped her morning coffee and the expression she wore almost DARED anyone to approach her. she raised her brows in amusement once hearing the male. “ well that’s certainly quite the way to get people to stop littering. ”
