               what do you mean by that?           god was he tempted to say that.           of course he felt emotion towards           what he did. he wasn't a psycho,           as ben wanted everyone to believe.    

          but he didn't have the same type of           remorse expected of him. he didn't           feel bad about what he did to vivien.           he felt bad about the effect that had           on everything.

          The problem was, he wasn't allowed           to be sorry. he was pigeonholed into           the role of a monster, and no one           would accept the fact that maybe,           just maybe, he did regret his actions.

    Golden strands dangle past her collar bones, index finger digs into         the skin of her thumb, almost as if her motivation was to draw               blood from a self inflicted wound. ( Always self mutilating. )        Flower is wilting, & decaying like a corpse.    Girls were so complicated -- even the easy-going ones like Violet. He would have        been happy to satisfy her wish ( that wish being to stay away from her ), even if it          meant that he never got to hold her or smell her unique scent of ciggarettes             and flowers again.    But here she was, calling him dramatic? Maybe he was being dramatic--Tate had        a knack for spectacles; setting Larry on fire in the middle of his office, committing          a public shooting ( he'd always imagined an elaborate tattoo on that baby-face             of his ), and that rubber suit. Yep, Tate did have a talent for drama, but he               pretentious...?     ❝ ———- well, you did. 'Go away Tate.' Just like that. ❞

     tate was tired of moira's      scornful gaze, and he was      tired of her constantly      reminding him that what he      did was wrong. he knew it was      wrong -- violet made him see that,      not the slutty maid.

      tate didn't even wasn't even       sure why he donned the suit       in the first place. well -- he knew       why, but he couldn't decipher       his true motivations anymore.

     it was odd, how protective she got of      mrs. harmon sometimes. she supposed she      considered them kindred spirits, in a way, both      cheated by men.

      well, if he couldn't be happy, he at least       wanted some of the others to be. mainly       violet. he would leave her alone, even if       it meant that he lost his mind.
