This Lexus ad is another interesting one. Even though it doesn't involve augmented reality directly, the technology and concept that have been used keep the audience fascinated.
Throughout 2017, campaigns with AR production elements have garnered increasing amounts of attention. Brands want to separate themselves from the noise of overpriced channels and let consumers enjoy and connect with them personally on their own terms.
What better way to do this than by utilizing the technology in everyone’s pocket?
Augmented reality has arrived as the next big mechanism to shape the industry, and it’s probably time for agencies to start their evolution or move to the side.
So this is how it works:

3. Point your phone towards the ground

CONCEPT
Interactive print that delivers live 3D view of the product displayed in the print ad
PROJECT BRIEF
The aim of the project is to make an interactive print with augmented reality programmed within it. The print advertisement will be for a jewellery store that might be in the form of a flyer or a pamphlet. The ad will contain an image of a bangle which should appear in an augmented 3D view once it is scanned with a phone.
Considering the unaware audience, a digital concept of interactive print advertising for the Indian jewelry designers/marketers will be the proposal.
Various international industries and brands like Ford, Volkswagen, Coco-Cola, Net-a-Porter, Rolex, Tissot, etc., made a gateway through interactive print advertising. However, it seems like there are no established or recognizable ads based on any Indian industries or products.
